This is too easy...

I'm reading Marvelous Underground Journey (per the previous post) and it is fascinating in so many ways but concerning the president, I guess I've only thought reincarnation, and specifically his son, Baron.

So far, a Von Troomp of short stature and his faithful companion, have found the bottomless well in the Urals and via an underground "highway" constructed of polished rock, have visited three civilizations. The descriptions of the bodies, senses, livelihoods, means of maintenance and the environs are highly plausible. We top dwellers get sympathy for living in hot, cold, wind and are referred to as Coal people.

The interesting thing about the book is that it opens with a chapter called "Biographical Notice of Wilhelm...Von Troomp, Commonly Called Little Baron Trump." This section "proves" that the Little Baron in the story is Von Troomp of Pomerian (teehee) descent.

I guess I have to finish this up and read the other. Thanks for the continued info.

What if the author of The Last President was the time traveler detailing his future and publishing it in the past so that it could be found in case he didn't return? If I was a time traveler I could see doing something like this to spread critical information if it was too risky to do so in my own time period or ones fairly close.

Either way I personally don't think there is time travel but I would like to be proven wrong.

I personally don't really think Time Travel is possible either, but you're right that we may be wrong.

It's certainly a fun topic to play with though. Definitely gets the brain thinking. Alternate explanations are fun to explore too!

I read an old prophecy that claimed the 45th president of American would be the last president, although it also said the last president was a female. But in all reality Trump is the 44th person to serve as president so we may have one left.
