It is, in many aspects, both corporate or otherwise, but that is not the argument. Quit moving the goalposts. We're talking about the rap/hip hop and how it's offensive to some people (which is not an ideology), versus neo-nazis/fascists, which IS an ideology.

I don't like the message of Neo Nazi music. It is atrocious.

I'm also not a fan of Christian music and it's message.

But some of it, musically-speaking, is awesome.

Some of the Neo-nazi metal bands, as well as metal Christian bands, is very well made.

But I like to focus on the composition of the music, not the message. The message means nothing to me.

People point to Kurt Cobain's lyrics as proof he was depressed and suicidal. He said his lyrics were just nonsense poetry and secondary to the music...nothing to read into.

I don't appreciate anyone censoring art. But if they do, they should be consistent about it, IMO.

BTW those groups are not being driven underground. They have thousands and thousands of services to choose from. They can host their own sites for cheap. They are not being censored. Nobody is scared of them. If you want to pay them royalities then go for it. Nobody is stopping you.

His lyrics were very important to his music, in his eyes, as it was informed by his internal conflict and that is how he was able to "vent". His fellow band mate, Dave Grohl, was the real musician that pushed the musical composition to higher levels, in my opinion. Still does his magic with the Foo Fighters.

Art in it's various forms is a way for the individual to express themselves in ways that go beyond simple words. We should never censor that, even if we are appalled by it.
