OMG! Lol! Those are real too!
Sometimes, I take the name thing too far and I create a whole story. And I'm glad my wife is there to encourage and help me do this. A typical
conversation can turn into something like this...
Me "This is my dog Dr Janice MacGullicuddy"
Wife "lol!" (She actually says "lol", not L.O.L.)
Me "Remember back when she had her own show, "MacGullicuddy"?
Wife "Yes! It was so cool."
Me "The intro and theme song to the show was cool too. It sounded like "CHiPs" and they showed MacGullicuddy running down a hospital hallway to an ER
and they would show little snippets of past episodes during the credits?"
Wife "Yeah, and they show her running, wearing a little white lab coat?" (Our dog is a Chihuahua) lol.
Me "Yeah, and that one "A very Special Episode" where MacGullicuddy wore a clown nose for that kid that had cancer, and she made him laugh one last
time?"
Wife "The ending was so sad."
Me "I know, when he laughed and closed his eyes, and MacGullicuddy had a tear rolling down her little dog face. Then she took the clown nose off and
put it in her drawer, kinda knowing she will probably have to use it again someday?"
Wife and I bust out laughing!!!!
Yeah, we take it that far.
