I was just telling my son today that the beauty of free speech allows the general public to see who people are. We had a long discussion about various political views and why people might hold them. I explained to him that ballots, not bullets, is the answer in a free republic society. Anyone supporting these actions saying they're happy these people died for expressing their belief is beneath contempt in my eyes. If you take umbrage with someone then you have tools, beyond a car/gun/knife/acid/bike-lock/molotov cocktail to remedy the issue. If your idea is so 'great' you need to run over people with a car, you've lost. This action is shameful.

I see they've caught this guy. I have considered that perhaps it is was a state sponsored crime, but I don't think so. There's no evidence to that, just a gut feeling that this person decided to take actions contrary to liberty. To kill people who have a different opinion than them. To trade the rest of his life to end theirs because they used their first amendment rights to decry something they felt wrong. This is on the same level as Anti-fa shutting down unpopular opinions through force, except this time we see dead people - so it's likely worse.

I have no sympathy for protestors. They want to protest, than they accept the risks. Those people have too much time on their hands and make it an inconvenience for regular travelers. I was pushed out of a store because of stupid protestors in DC.
