It wouldn't surprise me one bit if there were agent provocateurs on both sides in Charlottesville. It has happened many times before, it certainly could have happened this time. I'm sure I will be labeled a Nazi-sympathizer for making that statement by some hysterical posters, but on ATS we should be questioning everything, as things aren't always what they seem.

which is why I say that the local gov't should have the power to restrict such protest like this one, which was very much more of a local issue to just the local community... those hired troublemakers would be much more easier to spot, but no... there was no reason why the white supremacist couldn't have had rallies across the country, with smaller crowds, instead of all piling into one city like that.

The DOJ is opening a civil rights investigation on the car attack. Maybe they will find out if there are outside instigators. The media needs to stop their hate-filled rhetoric and accusations. They are part and parcel of the division right now.

I despise what the media is doing to this country......24/7 hate speech.

It was only a matter of time before left-wing identity politics spread and morphed to be used as right-wing identity politics.
