I think that was what got him in trouble.

However, I wouldn't necessarily rule the Husband out just yet.

He was, and it was going about as well as the submarine is now.

Oh god, I can't even imagine the terror of being stuck in a submarine with a murderer. The horrors that might have taken place in that thing, below the water, is the stuff of movies I refuse to watch.

If that's what happened, I hope it went quick and her family gets support.

This is horrifying.

This is fishy (pun intended). Why would they NOT name a journalist? Her name would be public anyway. No article, that I've found, releases her name. How do you look for someone lost, without using their name.

Weird.

Usually, when the press hides so much about someone in a report, it's because something isn't politically correct.

For him to even insult the authorities and the public's intelligence by claiming he dropped her off sometime somewhere else for some unknown reason is absolutely asinine.

Yes. I haven't been able to find her name yet either. There's a description of her in this post. I saw a similar description in another article, but they didn't mention her nylon stockings for some reason...

Maybe the guy dropped her off,and then went back.raped, killed her then left. and then scuttled the sub to cover up DNA evidence.

My question is just why did he want to build a submarine in the first place?
I could see it if it had observation windows, but it's not so what use was it?

The sub has cameras. He said he got into subs after watching the movie "Das Boot". This video explains it.

Btw, I believe they're going to salvage the sub tomorrow. And see if they'll find the missing woman inside, or any clues if a crime has been commited.

this is just one of many
real scientists are dying because they have views that makes false gov scientists angry, so they kill them, it started with the marconi murders in the 80's and it will never stop

According to this swedish article, the police has seized his computers. And the missing swedish journalist apparently worked for an American newspaper.

Polisen bär ut datorer från ubåtsägarens företag

Google translated:

The Swedish journalist who has been on board works according to BT on an American newspaper.

On Friday night, several police officers were in place at premises at which Peter Madsen's company operates.

There a search was made - and the police were in the room for a long time. Out of the building, the police carried on computers, according to the location.

Peter Madsen's agent Christian Møller Nilsen has not heard anything about the planned trip, along with the journalist.

- I do not know anything about this. At the moment, I feel very confused, everything is so strange, says Christian Møller Nilsen.

Quoting a sky news article.

They described her as "160cm tall, 56kg, 30 years old, with reddish-brown hair and green eyes".

She was wearing an orange blouse with long sleeves, a black and white floral skirt, nylon stockings and white tennis shoes.

This page.
news.sky.com...

It sound's to me like he has either murdered her and dumped her at sea and sank his sub to hope the sea water does away with any forensic evidence or that her body may still be inside the submarine which I actually doubt, likely he weighted her body and sank her in deep water somewhere.

Yes I suspect he is a wierdo and either raped her and killed her or killed her after she refused his advances.

By the description it may be possible to guess whom she is for our Swedish members if she is in any way well known.

God bless her soul and I hope this guy rot's in hell IF he is guilty, drop's her off at an island yeah right.

Before the sea water is drained when they tow that sub back they should take samples from the water to analyze for traces of blood in the water as I suspect there will be, likely he is playing a waiting game now and hoping the absence of her body will allow him to get away with the crime.
But God work's in mysterious ways and I believe her body will be found, unless he cut her up.

No. he was the captain and they do not need a body to prosecute him for murder. SHe was seen in his company and as such he was the last to see her alive. I think a jury would find him guilty.
