Where there is no elected democrats to protect them???

Where there is a clear paper trail on any actions people take against trump??

No elected Democrats, just appointed leftovers.

When everyone around you thinks your crazy.. it might not be all of them who is wrong..

I can't even imagine a conspiracy where youve got LITERALLY everyone against you as part of some conspiracy.. . unless those people legitimately (right or wrong) think trump is hurting the country...

I think they know he made a deal with Russia..and these people have been fighting Russia for decades.. they literally wake up and go to work fighting Russia..

So there is no way they let someone work with them to rig an election and get away with it..

This is a Trap actually. Mueller is trying to get grand jury testimony and afterwards wait a few weeks, then call them again to see if they cant remember things exactly the way they stated before and nail them for lying.

This is a clear shot across trumps bow. SO since mueller wants to play these games I suggest stop co operating and use presidential privlidge to curb his powers.

Raiding a house and finding something are two different things.

True..The questions are...

What the Special Counsel has already on Manafort that triggered the raid.

Whether Manafort has been hitting hard drives with hammers and burning stuff in his fireplace for the past few months as the noose tightened?

Or whether, having dealt with Russian intelligence elements and dangerous people before, he was stashing an insurance policy someplace to keep himself from suffering some accident or to keep the money flowing?

Mueller will have evidence from financial transactions, NSA taps and perhaps other people involved in arranging meetings or moving money..so the last question is what, if anything he needs from Manafort.

When you fight a enemy so long you begin to see everyone who is not you as the enemy. Thats what we have here.

This is actually a very interesting point to ponder.
And having the charges dropped isn't as interesting as why they filed a suit in the first place.
There could be many reasons a case was dropped.
Threatening the plaintiff could have those results.
Why it was dropped is relevant. But it doesn't say.

Yep...Hush Money

On the same day Paul Manafort stepped down as the campaign chairman for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign last August, he formed a shell corporation and took out loans worth $13 million from Trump-connected businesses, according to a New York Times report on Wednesday.

I have no idea why it was dropped, but it is so interesting that one of the russians attending this meeting may have had this kind of experience. it's also something that really isn't brought up much on ATS.

it kind of make the idea that the deal may have involve using his possible hacking skills... for something, like, oh, I don't know, hacking the DNC database?? in which case, a crime would have been committed and american citizens had been harmed more than just having their elections meddled with!!!

I'm confused with all of this. First, this raid is two weeks old. Why was it not reported before? I mean if it was raid then everyone should have known about and the media releases the information now? So why release two week old information now? Was something found or is this just an attempt to keep this story in the headlines. Again, unless the media has presented firm evidence then this story just seems like the cart was put before the horse. This should have been presented before talk of the grand jury. Like I said; this news release is more confusing than tantalizing.

still this was a raid supposedly. Not an undercover ops or some other covert operation. Everyone should have known about the raid the very same day. There is nothing gained by not releasing this information to the media immediately and the media reporting it immediately. There is something wrong when a raid is not mentioned the day it occurred. It is not classified information.

No one "released" this. Mueller and the FBI are still refusing to comment.

Pre-Dawn raid...Dark..in a presumably nice neighborhood where the home would sheltered from prying neighbors eyes.

Apart from the Special Counsel's Office and FBI...who still have not confirmed or denied..

Others in the know would be Manafort himself and his team of lawyers and anyone they talked to about it.

You bet they do. It cracks me up how so many Trumpeters seem to think that just because everything leaks out of the WH, it should be leaking from the FBI as well. The FBI is comprised of professionals who know how to keep things under wraps--including evidence. The WH, on the other hand, seems to be incapable of keeping the lid on a cup of coffee.

Where this game is concerned:
FBI = Varsity. WH = junior high lunch money thuggery (i.e., not even Junior Varsity).

Nah...

FBI = NBA Dream Team circa Olympics 1992 (Magic Johnson/Michael Jordan/Larry Bird).

...

WH = Neighborhood basketball PICK UP game.
