FYI.. Listening to Hillary's sermon will cost you a pretty penny!
Sprite cooking extra .

She'll have to separate that from her Pizza sermons.

The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries. 5 The name written on her forehead was a mystery:

babylon the great

the mother of prostitutes

and of the abominations of the earth.
Revelation 17: 4-5

I know I jokingly referred to her as the woman riding the beast a few times during the election, but this is getting ridiculous.

Communion with Hillary?

I think, at this point, it is safe to assume he is with her.
If not her.

well as a politician she has proven that she is very good at fleecing people of their money so she should do very well as a pastor.

I think she sold her soul to become president and is now trying to get it back. Sorry sister, all sales final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges

Hillary in the pulpit?

No chance then of the return of Jayzus, or a very short return as he'd end up as just another bizarre suicide of someone that threatened her position!

Lol, this is great. She figured out where some real power is, religion. To become a religious leader is brilliant. "Faith can move mountains."

Yeah, she doesn't perfectly fit any of them of course. I'm not trying to say she's like Cersei, though what I like about that show is that there is good and evil in most of the characters, just like in real life.

More likely she's realized that for a lot of people these days, politics *is* their religion. She's thinking if she can marry the two it will be like American Islam and nothing will be able to stop them.

Politics and Christian religions are already married. Look how 80 per cent evangelicals voted for one party. They showed us the political power of Christian based religions in the US.

When you "evolve" the religion to "survive" modern sensitivities, you're accommodating the world and falling short of the mark in a major way. What many like to criticize as the "problems" with fundamental Christianity, the traditional and the unchanging, is basically the entire point of the Faith. You start changing God's Word or start massaging the following of it and your soul is already lost to the world, no longer graced by God.

Then you completely missed my point, as well. Your initial post I was responding to was your criticism about changing "traditional western Christianity" and now you are saying that changing it at all for survival is against the core principles of the faith.

But what you see in western Christianity (especially in America's churchianity version) is a version of Christianity that has evolved to survive. So what you are defending is already a bastardization of your religion.

If what you say is true, there are no Christian cultures "graced by god" in modern times. Because they have all evolved away from the original barbaric practices. If you want to see what it would look like if it hadn't changed, just look at any of the fundamentalist Islamic theocracies.

With her loss of power there were no young pedo souls to feed upon to maintain her youth and good looks (cough). Then she had an "Aha!" moment. Young choir boys are shaking in their boots. Mammy Hillary's coming to town and their souls will have to make up for an entire nation that she had wet her appetite for.

I can hear the scurry of little feet in that hot dusty Southern one room church as the children crawl into the crevices. Sunset has come and Hillary likes to hunt in the dark.

Absolutely wrong. The first Christians were persecuted, not persecutors. It wasn't until the late 4th century that the religion was embraced by the ruling class in Rome. After that, the cases of governments executing heathens for offenses were confined to either the Crusades or a few discrete examples like the witch trials. Islam is presently going through their crusade period, and the civilized world is right in fighting against that, no doubt.

And... do the Christians still go on crusades and burn witches? Besides in Africa? No. Because they CHANGED.

And you're right about Islam. I often look at their timeline and compare it to the other two religions of their club (Christianity and Judaism). Right now, much of Islam is where Christianity was at 700 years ago.

ATTN: ATS HILLARY HATERS

Remember, you are all about your religion, your rights. Its her right to do what she wants in a church.

I love when the tides turn... Hillary in religion. It is a statement that will make ATS users head explode

This true, but it's because Hillary has never shown one ounce of remorse for anything she has ever done her entire life, nor has she repented of her sins.
For anyone to ever take her seriously about this, she will need to go public and admit before God and country all the things she has done, condoned, taken part in, and tell everyone why it was wrong to do.

This is never going to happen.
So if she does become a pastor, she will just be blowing smoke the devil gave her.

They didn't burn witches and go on crusades to begin with was my point. Those actions were a bastardization of the Faith, same as much of the absolute filth modern Christians are told to accept in society and not rail against would represent if the congregation began to soften against it.

I'm not sure you understand exactly what the reformation and Martin Luther were based on. It wasn't a factor of "Society has changed, so our church needs to change" in any way. It was the observation that the Catholic church had strayed far from God's Word. The idea that money could buy salvation if given in large sums to a church ruled by Rome. This movement, unfortunately, lead to some undesired consequences, such as the Church of England with the king in command... regardless, the protestant movement in general was protesting against the changes of the church to satisfy worldly interests, they weren't protesting against refusal of the church to change because the Catholic church was nothing if not pliant for the right amount of bribe.
