Hillary Clinton may be headed from politics to the pulpit.
The 2016 Democratic presidential candidate told her longtime pastor William Shillady she would like to pursue a position of spiritual leadership, The Atlantic reports.
And Shillady, executive director of the United Methodist City Society, told the magazine: "Given her depth of knowledge of the Bible and her experience of caring for people and loving people, she'd make a great pastor."
Shillady is author of the new book, "Strong for a Moment Like This: The Daily Devotions of Hillary Rodham Clinton," which will be published next week by Abingdon Press.
Shillady told the Atlantic's Emma Green that Clinton, a Methodist, has always been greatly influenced by her faith.
"It's been there all along. The general public didn't necessarily want to accept the fact that she's a Christian because there's so many critics out there about the Clintons," he said.
Shillady's book contains 365 devotions and a forward by Clinton herself.

I heard she is publishing a Bible study guide.
How strange.
Did she skip The First Commandment!?
Thou shall not kill...
Don't know why she hasn't thought of that before now!? .....
Not all that different from what she has been doing anyway.
Matthew 6
24 No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

I also find the irony in ATS folk who laugh at that. This soulless godless woman is going to preach in a church. There was a time where the religious right would have applauded someone for committing time to their faith. But here you all laugh. Its definitely ironic when folk become hypocrites. Heck Im one thread back from someone promising Hillary was running again in 2020. Delusions....

I don't see how she could possibly be a spiritual leader when she has served money her whole life. Her life so far has been the antithesis of what Jesus taught, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven, Hillary is going to have one of the harder times getting in.
