The point is you don't make much money off of less than 1% of the population. So what would the point be? It would be more profitable to push say depression on children and adults.

Because they trying to expand that number. I can guarantee you with the social push we are seeing now, gender dysphoria is going to become far more commonly diagnosed. Completely and utterly incorrectly diagnosed in most of those cases, but there will be an increase because once that five year old is diagnosed, they are dependent upon the mental health industry for support for this transition until at least adulthood, and statistically, well beyond that. It's a damn gold mine.

While there are many legitimate mental disorders, he's probably right about the "extra" disorders. Gender dysphoria is just not a part of it so no reason to keep them doped up. The only thing they can profit from is the hormone therapy and that doesn't make much money.

Good lord. You and I have gone around and around and around about this. But I'll go through it one more time. While children are developing their identities, identifying as the other gender is not uncommon. It is usually transient and temporary if they are left to develop within the typical social framework. However, children like to please the adults around them, and if they perceive that it is a positive thing that they identify with the other gender, there is a very real chance they will become confused and stick with that even when they have grown out of it. Children have a difficult time separating their individual identity from the perceived identity and will of their social group. That's what that whole developmental struggle for identity is all about. Pushing this on children, who do not have the developmental capacity to navigate it in spite of the "support" and positive feedback they are getting from their immediate social group, and further mucking it up by delaying puberty is not only courting a situation where a child will run into an identity crisis, it is practically guaranteeing it. Especially when there is a profit motive.

Like Marrs points out, you ask them a bunch of leading questions that can result in a diagnosis being given, them a hormone regime to go through to delay puberty.

Yes you are going in circles. Nobody is pushing this on children. What would the purpose be anyway? Nobody ever presented any evidence of them deliberately confusing the children.
You might need to study gender dysphoria a little more. It is about the persistence of gender identity. No matter how much the parents try to force them to be of their biological sex, children with gender dysphoria will persist. And the force upon them by the parents and society is what causes "distress". Yes that is a legitimate term. "Persistence" and "distress" are in DSM-5.
