As a gay person, I would suggest there is no indoctrination going on. I am a bloke who likes other blokes. Therefore why the # would I want to start suggesting and teaching in schools that we are all androgynous? Can you not see the logic meltdown? Like you, I need my gender to remain is it always has just to know who I am attracted to. Even if to you it seems wrong....

As for the gender dysphoric, (the truly androgynous ones) latest research suggests that the grand total of adults who identify this way are 0.6% of the adult population.

And just like sexuality, you are never going to convince someone who knows they are a girl or a boy that they are otherwise.

Who cares? I mean, who really cares what others do, and even if someone is bothered by your not acknowledging their gender identity? This whole idea that this is even a big deal needs a huge can of who gives a damn?

This whole transgender thing is some made up nonsense for people looking for extra attention. We very much live in a "look at me!" Society and this whole transgender nonsense is the absolute top of idiocy.

Here is the thing, the fight for gay rights is still on going. Texas just signed into law, Companies do not have to provide insurance for same sex spouses. That is a slap in the face. If you are straight and are married, your work has to cover your spouse (at a cost) if you are gay and married, the company you work for does not have to insure your spouse. Sad.....

Actually it was the State Supreme Court that made a ruling regarding a lawsuit against the City of Houston. The City decided to give insurance coverage, but the city charter had an amendment that specifically stated that it wouldn't. The lawsuit made it's way to the Texas Supreme Court where the court stated the City had to follow it's charter. If the Mayor and City Council were smart they could bypass the whole issue by amending the city charter to remove the previous amendment. Dallas Morning News Article on the lawsuit

Well, nobody on ATS. But very few here are in the medical field and in neonatal medicine where it's a known physical condition. Doctors often have to do a "pick one" for this kind of baby and do the appropriate surgery.

and then, based on a measurement of less than a millimeter either way
they do invasive surgery on newborn babies

Why not leave both? And let them choose later? Im guessing maybe medical complications, from having too many organs in one area or other complications unforseen by the layman. i.e. Two urethras, etc... Could be problematic and cause some kind of a plumbing backup leading to UTI or something..?
