Anyone with a soul SHOULD care. Kids are being raped and it is systematically being covered up. These degenerate assholes were responsible for investigating it and were guilty of similar debauchery themselves.

Whose the idiot? That wasn't his assertion, maybe rereading his post might help. He was saying a vow of celibacy leads to sexual frustration. Like plumbing or electrical it's the weakest link that causes it to fail. So little boys or girls or nuns become easy targets for their desires.

But it does appear that homosexuality as well as child molestation rules both the Catholic Church as well as government. It's a great way to control via blackmail so it's probably encouraged.

The police weren't there about the gay sex. That, oddly enough, isn't illegal in Vatican City. They were there because of the drugs. There was an alleged orgy happening, vurnthey dot say how many people were actually involved, nor was the priest who lived in the apartment actually accused of participating in said orgy. He was arrested and brought to a detox facility. Personally, I think the Catholic obsession with cows of celibacy are an archaic anachronism. You don't see Presbyterian's or Lutheran's engaging in this level of debauchery and I'm inclined to believe it's because they are allowed to marry and not forced to repress natural feelings and emotions. Celibacy is an untenable and unrealistic thing to expect and it has a direct correlation with the sex scandals plaguing the Catholic Church. As for being a fan of "The Bible" that's kind of silly. There is no single bible. There are dozens in use depending on the denomination you belong to. The NIV used by Catholics differs from the King James Bible used by COE and Episcopalians, which is different from the the versions used by American Evengelical congregations and on and on so it's a little disingenuous to say "The Bible" asnif it's one single book used by the 1.5 Bn Christians across the globe. Furthermore, for the first half of Christianities existence, the Church actually performed same sex unions and gave them their blessing. The anti gay sentiment is a product of European culture around the time of the East/West schism. Just a little food for thought.

The truth is that we are sexual beings that grew out of a sexual act to create us. There is no shame in being sexual, so why try and repress it? Even the 12 Apostles had their wives following them around. Jesus never once asked any of them to become celibate...........

As this exposes. Some of the major players in "the business" are free to do some of the most extreme things considered deplorable by their own religion if not the world, and get away with it time and time again because there is no one to punish them. Not even a God.

I only follow the KJV, that said, show me any verse from any of the versions where it condones sex with multiple people at once.

Let's define a couple of words here;

Religion is a man made system and heirachy to spread and control beliefs.

Faith on the other hand is a belief in something greater and intangible and is an individual thing.

Religion takes people's faith and tries to twist it for certain agendas.

So yes, the Catholic religion is bad. Catholic faith on the other had is not.

I tend to attribute individuals actions to the individual(s) involved. This is very bad for what sounds like an employee of an agency of the Vatican, but it would be very wrong to blame it on the Catholics as whole. Saddly though, we have many bigots out there who would try to do just that.

I'm not a Catholic, but I tend to think this is not actually a religious topic beyond the employer of the person involved.

get over this daily mail conspiracy bs it's actually a reputable news paper and has wide readership in the UK and has for many decades.. not some trash tabloid with zero actual journalism... the reason they are disliked so much is because they publish a lot of right wing political opinion peices and sometimes use questionable sources to validate their stories (like ALL MSM) but they also simpy report the news... if it's in the daily mail there will more often than a not be some element of truth to the article.
