Maybe lazy people are right?

Lazy is relative.

Lazy could mean working a job and putting up with human rights violations that suck "working" people dry when they see the violation and continue to let it happen thinking they can escape it going somewhere else. It will catch up to them

Lazy could mean the one who sits at a desk punching away at a computer getting paid to do it with the ego title of "working" is the lazy one compared to the one who is a maid at a busy high end hotel.

Lazy could be the one operating the excavator while the one digging the ditch is not. The one who built the excavator could view the latter two as lazy for not creating it.

Lazy could mean a person who writes out the fantasy books and sells them is while the person who actually naturally lives that life is really lazy. The person who purposefully acts out another's novel or script works hard to do so.

When people feel forced to do what goes against what they think is right they feel they work hard. They literally have to. The psych mode they put up with to keep themselves going is harder than programming a computer.

There is no such thing as "lazy" but there is a lack of motivation in people due to the blatantly corrupt and hypocritical way the work force is set up with substandard pay and high cost of living with more and more people seeing it for what it really is.

People who are blessed to have jobs that make ends meet use the term a lot. One way is they use it to describe their day off. "I'm going to have a lazy day and do nothing." Which means they usually put off doing chores around the house or cleaning/pampering themselves or exercising. But even then, they still do something. Cook, drive somewhere, visit a friend - counseling them or making them feel wanted. They read. Write. Watch something on the screen. From documentaries to what ever. All our minds are constantly working. There is no lazy found in sleep because sleep doesn't guarantee experiencing said laziness. Some people have nightmares or unwanted perverted weird dreams. No waking up refreshed.

Other people use the term lazy towards others to scapegoat and guilt trip.

There are many studies about what people regret before dying. Most regret not loving more, not being enough time with people they loved, not enjoying life enough and so on.
Not one regrets not working more hours or more weekends.
Think about it, if someone will tell you you're gonna die next month what you're gonna do with your last days? Work some more or trying to live some?
Life is about living it, and not only on holidays or weekends. Work only for what you really need to live.

I agree it’s not lazy, it’s living and I have felt this way most of my adult life/ My first job out of college I realized I Worked to extremes to make others rich also being a woman in a mans world (20 years ago) made the situation even worse, my input, ideas, insight were either looked at with disdain or worse stolen from me. Told myself I would never be in that position again but we need food and shelter so 20 years later still here and working for women can be just as bad if not worse then working for men.
When I get my capital I’m going to change the world, at least my world
