Not to be a bummer, but before I tried it for the first time I'd get a wide-range of information on the subject. I've tried it myself and whether the binaural beats or just the focus on inner, I did have some spacey experiences.
My take is that you might be opening yourself up to something you don't understand. Whether psychological/neurological or spiritual, it's something to take into consideration is all I'm saying.
Search for binaural beats and the Monroe Institute (Bob Monroe.) At least partially funded by the intelligence agencies. Some neat sounding stories, but some scary ones too.

Bi- beats are amazing.
When I started taking Champix for quitting smoking, I also started using binaural beats.
It was like i discovered a new world.
I was having nightly OBE's or Lucid dreams.
I would wake up in the morning with the desire to go back to sleep.
Like literally, I would wake up at 6 am and was eager for the day to go by so I could go back to bed and get back to my new world.
The experiences where so vivid and real, that almost 2 years later, I can still remember them all like it was a real event in my life.
That really opened my eyes...or rather shut them I guess, to that there's a lot more going on than we perceive in life.
To me, they are real memories, real experiences that happened in my life.
To an outsider that has never tried it, I would be seen as a lunatic hahah.

. I've always listened to the 528 mhz. It's been theorized the 528 mhz frequency can repair damaged DNA.
There were some tests conducted in the late 90s by Dr. Glen Rein of the Quantum Biology Research Lab in New York. Essentially his test proved the 528 mhz frequency did have an affect on human DNA with absorption rates. However, the claim of the frequency being able to actually repair human DNA is still yet to be proven.
I will frequently combine multiple 528 mhz frequencies and the results (for me) are a very, very focused and relaxed state. Here are two in particular I will combine. You will need to synch the rhythms to fit your preference.

I dont know or remember what 110Hz has to do with Aliens...
But I will say Binuaral Beats in general have changed my life.
I was ultra skeptical as to their validity, but I have a high school friend who got his MD, he's a neurologist and he swore by binaural beats for therapy for a range of things. He actually wrote his thesis on the subject.
I ended up trying it out, and it really made a difference, my focus and ability to learn and apply things went through the roof. In addition to that I had more energy and my depression subsided.
I really dont know how bi-naural beats arent more mainstream yet.

This all sounds fascinating.
But I'm skeptical to say the least. I get bored to easy.
I was suuuper skeptical too. I don't usually believe in things of this nature (aliens are more my thing.. I usually stick to science on most other rhings) But after using them.. It really did change everything. I don't think it's a placebo either because I was skeptical and I w asnt really looking for any specific results. The actual physical feeling though is kind of crazy. With certain tones you get that tingly feeling like when someone grades they're fingers down your neck.
