You know what, if it were only that, I honestly wouldn't be all that concerned. The tweet about Mika is basically meaningless to the extent if it were a one-off jab with an almost sly type of respect, I wager it would have been ignored.

The problem, as I see it, is that policy is being affected basically by Fox & Friends and Breitbart. The problem here is not one of meddlesome tweets and annoying talk show hosts, it is on attempted media blackouts to some outlets that will sink this country.

I don't see these same President Trump supporters lobbying for shutdowns of the Enquirer, or any other such publication because they are "FAKE NEWS", only the press with negative Trump sentiment.

Nah, the reason trump attacks the media isn't that he cares what the media says about him (unless they're lying), it's who is saying it about him.

As you pointed out, the media is part of his industry, his brand, his business. He has made friends with many of these people especially Mika and Joe (he offered to Marry them at the white house) and to watch people like this, your friends, turn on you for ratings probably stings. This one is a personal feud between them.

These are pretend friends, that act like they love you when you're around then bash you at the first chance. Trump is likely the more genuine person in this friendship.

The enquirer has their own reputation. CNN and MSNBC have successfully cloaked their fake news with credibility. Trump is simply removing their mask for them.

Yes. The party that for a generation now has claimed a moral superiority chose to promote a candidate with no moral development beyond a young child.

As another poster said, this is grammar school stuff. Adults who develop beyond grammar school to the next stage display an awareness that their decisions and behavior need to be based on something more than personal fear of consequences or personal gain. There will always be adults who remain stuck at the young child level. Fortunately, I think that most adults will not support T's childish decisions and behavior of this tweet.

But, giving political power to a person or group of people who stay with the moral development of a child does nothing to advance a nation. Unless corrected, community is lost and the nation regresses.

Which has no place what so ever in official Presidential Statements to the public, it is not policy based, it is not something that will affect every US citizen.

He is bringing the White House out of the clouds and back down to ground level by burning it down.
