Jim Marrs needs our positive thoughts right now

I admit I have not read a lot of Mr. Marrs work.

However I have dabbled, and seen or heard him on several occasions.

He struck me as a very cheerful person, and seemed very likeable.

That is important to me. In the world of conspiracies and alternative points of view, it seems that many of the "big names" are very bombastic aggressive people.

When I heard Jim talk, it made me think "Yeah. I can believe some far out there stuff and still be a warm person", and that has stuck with me.

My thoughts are with him and I hope for a speedy recovery.

Hes certainly a very likeable fellow.
Read a lot of his stuff and always try and watch his vids.
I could listen to him all day.
In fact I might find something now.

Jim Marrs is a good ole Texas boy. Great personality with a deep knowledge of many conspiracies.

His best work, in my opinion, was on JFK and GMO's.

Honestly, he is an icon to be respected when it comes to true conspiracies. He's above and beyond what the silly conspiracies have become recently.

Jim Mars, "The View From Mars" -- a seminal name among the conspiracy community and important figure in UFO research.

Mr. Mars reminds me of a time when conspiracies weren't strictly political or partisan in nature, and inspired a sense of awe and imagination. He is, for all intents and purposes a "Carl Sagan" of the UFO/conspiracy world.

Many members here probably have likely seen him on one of the countless documentaries that he's been featured, no doubt never realizing it.

Positive energy and thoughts to Mr. Mars and his family right now.

If you are interested, Marrs was the season premier for each season on the BOA podcast. Lots of great content and it will give you a sense of how intelligent and deep he was.

Such a coincidence you mention him. I had sent him a message on ATS a week or so ago. Haven't heard anything, so I emailed him.
Still nothing,
I'm not a friend of Mr Marrs, more of a fan.
Had a bunch of questions that I asked for his opinion on.

He's been around since 1943. That man has seen some stuff in his day.

Praying that he can pull through this, write a book about it and continue on.

Jim Marrs has written many great CT books....whether I agree with all his ideas, he remains a giant in the world of CT books.

Jim Marrs' ability to hold point on a subject was worthy of anyone's respect. I love a good argument ... and Jim could always hold his own. If you weren't careful, you'd accidentally learn something from the guy.

That was a lovely sentiment to post. I am sorry to hear about your good friend Jim Marrs and would like to offer my respects and thoughts towards Jim as well.

Kind Thoughts are what are needed right now towards this Great Pioneer many of us have looked up to over the years.

My husband and I have personally known the Marrs family (Jim, his wife, children, and now grandchildren) since 1999. I read his book Crossfire in 1994 and was hooked on anything he wrote. In 2007 he told me about this website, so joined as basically a "reader" of posts for 10years now after he told me he was writing a book about this site. They are wonderful kind people and well loved by all that know them. Please, please send prayers their way for Jim and Carol!

If anyone up there is still talking with me it would be an honor to mention the name of so straight a shooter as this man is and has been!

Mr. Marrs is one of the main reasons I became interested in CT in the first place.

Hey if you can get him these messages, appreciate it as I never will!

Disagree with a lot of his ideas, but Marrs is an excellent author and as you said, a brilliant journalist. Even the stuff I don't believe makes for a great read. Fourth Reich is mandatory reading for ATS! And his work on JFK is legendary.
