Trump admin shot down an SAA jet near Raqqa

So the story seems to be an SAA jet was attacking either IS or maybe mistakenly attacked SDF near Raqqa, and a US jet shot it down. Fate of the pilot is unknown. If shot down by the US, it would have been the first time the US shot down an SAA jet since the beginning of the war. A major escalation if true. Fingers crossed for cooler heads to prevail and for the US to apologize if this is the case.

There's a link inside the reddit link that displays Syria's statement on the event.....it's what you may expect. They're pointing out the U.S. and co. are in clear support of Daesh.

I believe cooler heads will prevail, Syria has responded exactly as they need to in the face of American overt acts of aggression.

They simply need to maintain course and link up with Iraq and everything we have tried to accomplish will have been lost. Now America is attempting to create a Kurdistan to remain relevant and this will inevitably cause a backlash from Turkey, they may even leave NATO.

Maybe Russia shooting down losts of coalition aircraft, telling U.S. to get out of Syria and quit supporting terrorist that are attacking the soverign state of Syria. Maybe a contemptuous love letter to McCain and Graham from Putin also.
