Comey has never leaked classified information. Ever.

Whoever leaked the intel on General Flynn has still not been caught. Could have been Comey, he's a leaker.

He must be the number one suspect now we know he leaks when he thinks it benefits him.

Why would Comey do that? He was trying to build a legal case. More likely it was one of Flynn's rivals in the administration, or even a family member who did not approve of the potential for future scandal.

Can you give one single example of his "leaking when he thinks it benefits him?" Be sure to include any psychic recordings of his thoughts in your possession.

I'll leave the psychic readings to you - you've regaled us plenty with what is in Trump's mind.

So, as usual, you have made a bold claim with no evidence to back it up. You just want to brainwash people into thinking that Comey is an unreliable witness. He served three Presidents from two parties faithfully. Donald Trump has had to "settle" countless fraud and breach of contract cases. I can't wait to see Trump 100% testify under oath.

I don't need to claim that Comey is an unreliable witness. He already said he was himself under oath. Game, set, match.

The hearing is public record, but let me help you

"I don't know the President well enough to read him well". Under oath.

The admission of a reliable witness. Unlike you, he made no claim to be able to read Trump's mind with certainty. Arguing this is futile. Eventually, Trump will 100% testify under oath to explain himself, right?

He did not mention certainty.

Again:
"I don't know the President well enough to read him well".
Under oath he admits his views are not reliable. His entire testimony was based on his reading of what Trump meant.

No way out of these statements under oath.
Bad luck.

Comey didn't leak anything.

He published, or caused to be published, his own personal diary.

There is nothing there that resembles a leak any more than, say, Winston Churchill publishing his memoirs.

"Yeah, you gotta nice shop here. I hope it doesn't burn down."

Do you have any doubt what the gangster means by that statement?

"We've got a big meeting tomorrow. I hope you have that report ready on time."

Do you have any doubt what your boss means by that statement?

Hard drives have some of the most powerful magnets on the planet in them (neodymium). I would imagine that 47 of them would present quite a magnetic signature. I would at least scan the areas he was known to be in at the time....

Comey is a leaker. He's a lawyer, he's a paid liar.

Jonathan Turley, a law professor at George Washington University, said Comey’s sharing of the memo with a friend was "unauthorized and thus unlawful," because the material was FBI information covered by federal rules and regulations.

Comey was not allowed to treat the memos as personal property, Turley said, given that they were written in the context of a federal investigation, on an FBI computer and revealed to others in the leadership team.

Own personal diary? No.

In the list of government materials Gen. Petraeus was accused of sharing with his mistress, conversations with the president were among them.

Comey composed those notes in a government vehicle, on a classified government laptop, on government time. They belong to us, The American People, and should be archived in OUR records.

I bet Comey would like to get them "out of the cloud".

Yes.

Irrelevant. And Petraeus discussed classified information. It was not about his conversations with the President per se, but the specific material he discussed.

Comey composed those notes in a government vehicle,

Yeah, probably. So?

on a classified government laptop

Government owned probably. Classified definitely not.

on government time.

Nope. He isn't an hourly wage slave with a clock to punch - and if he was he would have punched it on the way out of the White House door. He's on government time when he's working on government business. Talking to the Pres in the WH is Government time. Riding in the car on his way home is not Government time. It's his time, just as it is your time when you are going home from work.

That is just silly. They don't belong to 'us, The American People', but as they are now evidence in a looming Constitutional Crisis they should definitely be in the public domain and I am sure they will be sooner or later.

Director of the FBI.... 'Off the clock' ? While riding in a government vehicle, typing on a government laptop?

Typing what he spoke with the POTUS about because he thought it may have bearing on an investigation that was taking place at the time??? That isn't job related????

The real interesting thing is that he had similar feelings about what Loretta Lynch had told him pertaining to the Hillary Clinton investigation..... Yet he wrote NO memo about that meeting.
That is telling.

Don't be ridiculous. James Comey did not jot down a few notes on a legal pad in the backseat of his government vehicle to "remember" something.

James Comey intentionally created a document regarding a meeting. He created it on a classified laptop owned by the United States government, and the document he created was similar to "minutes" noted in important meetings.

No matter how you spin it, those notes are important and our Records Management rules apply.

What are Federal employee responsibilities?

Federal employees are responsible for making and keeping records of their work. Federal employees have three basic obligations regarding Federal records:

Create records needed to do the business of their agency, record decisions and actions taken, and document activities for which they are responsible

Take care of records so that information can be found when needed. This means setting up good directories and files, and filing materials (in whatever format) regularly and carefully in a manner that allows them to be safely stored and efficiently retrieved when necessary

Carry out the disposition of records under their control in accordance with agency records schedules and Federal regulations

Those note are most likely in the Cloud.

James Comey wants them out of the cloud. I think he has already sent the "message" to "get them out".
