I would not be surprised if liberals next move will be to call for the car ban, since nowadays, these sick retarded terrorists no longer use guns, but rather just cars.

yeah right, because that is what liberals would do...geeez, what a moronic thing to say....but that's the norm for the alt-right on ATS

Thats because its Trump......

They screamed (as I did) when Obama was dropping aid and weapons only a few short years ago because of fear that ISIS ground troops would get ahold of them and use them in their push for Iraq and other areas, and guess what, they did......

It was stupid then, and most of the people on this board who were screaming about it then, are now making excuses for Trumps arms deal....

Makes me sick to my stomach to see the blatant double standard, apathy, and ignorance.........

Infact one of the repeated talking points during the Obama administration was "Stop arming our enemies".....

Well, where are ya now guys? Gotta follow your Trump pied piper off the ledge eh?

Disgraceful

The Blue is just as much of a part of this as the Red is... your red hate filled rants are ever numbing on here.

At least the current idiot got us some money for arming terrorism... the last idiot just straight gave the cash away.

yeah its pretty gross.

these people basically say that we should go to any lengths to stop terrorism. from rights being set aside to outright violence.

when asked to stop selling weapons to a #ing terrorist nation though. nothing but deflection and excuses.

but but they have not used our weapons in an attack. dont mean they wont.
why take a chance?

we can ban travel just in case but we cant stop the supply of weapons..you know just in case

i really dont understand this thought process at all

Wrong again, im a constitutional conservative, I just didnt buy into Trumps BS like so many others did (probably because im a real conservative and not a party supporter or in need of a strong man, or you know I actually spent time to research who the guy really was)....

Ahh good to see where "moral conservative" thinking is diving to........

Tell me I'm wrong again, then make points to feed onto an individual's participation in atrocities that have been going on for many decades? Dude... you are now one of those unhinged people that are slowly coming loose at the seams.

I'm serious... your rants are getting on the level of Kathy Griffin type rants. It's hard to even read your words anymore.

Besides, I am not a conservative anything, or liberal anything... you got a list of where you think people must divide to before a debate occurred. Like I said, your words are numbing...

Not even close , I just see it for what it is and have no issues calling a spade a spade , I'm sorry you have a hard time handling that

You say I'm coming unhinged lol but your insults would make it appear that it's actually you that is having the difficult time here...

Nice two post deflecting from the OP though and trying to target me.....

Seems I hit a nerve w my no nonsense post....

Yesterdays attack used knives and a vehicle, now what?

That's because we have strict gun laws, if we didn't have those laws the terrorists would kill many more than they can with vehicles and knives

In a world where people need "safe spaces" and everything has to be sugar coated as to not offend peoples sensibilities, I am afraid that the collective just dont have the stomach for what it would really take to eradicate this problem....

The media and public would be running around with their hair on fire crying foul.....

Thats the main reason I dont think we will ever see a hard-line, serious effort to put a stop to it, or at least stem the tide to a trickle......

No, you are wrong. The reason is that there is a lot of money to be made and a lot of power to be accrued by having Daesh running around creating a fuss. They are serving a purpose, or they would not exist. Period.

I am laughing my butt off over here, because you started off by saying,

Thats because its Trump......

Then continued on to say how it makes you sick to your stomach. All in a thread that is talking about an arms deal with Saudi Arabia.

So, I call you on it... on the reality that that election day is long gone now, and we must move on with life now. We all get it that you are a super passionate person that didn't vote for Trump. If you're so stuck in the past and dwelling on that day he was voted into office, then someone that likes to poke the bear, like me, will eventually come along and make you blow your steam more and more. It's actually free comedy to watch you people coming unhinged.

Please, continue on... call a spade a spade amongst a game of Uno.

Do you expect to see the push to bomb and invade Iran soon; blame them for ISIS? I do. War is good business.

Think it's bad now...? Wait til that war starts!

Saudi was not on this list too, for the simple reason that they prop up the Petro Dollar.

Iran is on this list... so, its just a matter of time.

Good point Whereismypassword. Thank heavens we live in a country with strict gun control. Or that London attack would have been even more horrifying.

The usual one-liners and false equivalencies as seen in every thread that questions Trump. I sure wish the moderators at ATS would do something about this.

As to the Saudis... these terrorists with knives and guns need support and financing to do things like, get to England and France for example. They are financed and they have backers. Evidence points directly to the Saudis from 911 on down. Instead of excusing Trump for making the biggest ever arms deal with the Saudis (and bowing and curtsying to them in public) Trump bows link, why not question his motives for doing such a thing? What, exactly is wrong with that?

Had Hillary or Obama done such a thing they would all be foaming at the mouth like rabid dogs! But Trump can do no wrong. Let's just tell it like it is: they're hypocrites. Period.

So ban cars and knives? Ban acid which Muslims regularly throw on people's faces? Ban roofs which they throw gays off? Ban stone which they use to stone women? Ban ropes which they use for public hangings?

It's cultural. Weapons are just an excuse.

Sell a bunch of arms to a a group of Buddhists and they aren't going to go shoot up a bunch of infidels.

I've already addressed the car and knife argument, in not addressing those things so there is no point in bringing them up other than to deflect.

Yep, you called it.

Cars and other vehicles “have turned into deadly weapons”, and should be banished from cities to stop attacks like the one in Stockholm from happening in future, according to Aftonbladet editorialist Eva Franchell.
Crackdowns on immigration or extremist ideology are not the way forward when it comes to terror prevention, according to the veteran journalist, writing after Friday’s terror attack in Stockholm left four people dead.

Instead, it is cars — which she calls “effective murder machines” — that Franchell says “must simply be removed from city centres and places where people gather, if people are to be protected in future”.
