I came across this article this morning...

The mysterious "Q" behind the QAnon conspiracy movement, which was instrumental in the storming of the US Capitol, is in fact two people, according to Swiss experts.

Swiss startup OrphAnalytics said it had used its algorithm-based machine-learning text analysis software, developed to detect plagiarism, to help crack the mystery behind QAnon.

"There are clearly two styles characterising the QAnon messages," company chief Claude Alain Roten told AFP in an interview at his home in western Switzerland.

After "cleaning" 4,950 Q-drops of irrelevant content like web links and greetings, he feeds them into the software.

On the screen, a colourful scatter plot chart appears showing two clearly distinct collections of dots.

He said the chart showed a clear difference in style between the first Q messages that appeared on 4chan, from October 28 to December 1, 2017, and the subsequent messages.

"The signal difference is strong enough to leave very little doubt on this author's swap," OrphAnalytics said in a white paper published last month.

www.france24.com...

So whoever Q was is not who Q now is...which is exactly what some were saying in 2018.

In November 2017, a small-time YouTube video creator and two moderators of the 4chan website, one of the most extreme message boards on the internet, banded together and plucked out of obscurity an anonymous and cryptic post from the many conspiracy theories that populated the website's message board.

Over the next several months, they would create videos, a Reddit community, a business and an entire mythology based off the 4chan posts of “Q,” the pseudonym of a person claiming to be a high-ranking military officer. The theory they espoused would become Qanon, and it would eventually make its way from those message boards to national media stories and the rallies of President Donald Trump.

www.nbcnews.com...

I wonder if it even matters who Q was and whether they actually believed what they were posting at the time or if it was just meant to be a massive fnord or something, whichever, it has clearly gotten way out of hand.

ETA. Also, with regards to the software that has unearthed the Q identity switch...that kind of has a few implications (applications) which should give us some pause for thought...

One thing I have for myself proven to be true, (I'm aware that's deep CT "aliens!*" & such) is that some people on some occasions are acting agents while blissfully unaware that they are.
Q and what came from it might be such an "intervention".

*like that but different

I'm a bit distracted, police showed up yesterday and told me my father died. I totally didn't see that coming. So I'm having a few... emotional problems. Conflicts.

5 hours or so and we'll see what will happen. Maybe nothing. Hopefully nothing.

I am so sorry for your loss. That's a tough way to get the news.

How are you doing?

Hugs and love just for you.

Take care of yourself.

We weren't really close, because we were both kind of sure he wasn't my biological father, it's a bit complicated.
But he was the only and last one I still kind of sometimes wanted to talk with. The rest of my family is a bunch of vultures. He was a sweetheart besides all flaws he was too sensitive for this world. Grew up with all women in the household, beaten by his father, he married my mother they had a way of making eachother very miserable,...I think he was never happy.
I just wish we'd have had one last talk. Say him something nice, that I don't blame him for anything...
I don't know.
Life goes on.

But enough of that emotional crap.
Went down really smooth yesterday, didn't it?
Makes you kind of wonder how much show it really all is/was? Or maybe they thankfully realised that the Donnie isn't worth dying for.
Good riddance.

I'm not very good in these circumstances, with death and grieving, I don't have the words. I have never been so terrified as when I realised I had to tell my son that his Dad had died.

Anyway, if you need someone to rant at, I'm a great listener, so PM me. Otherwise, I just got hugs.

Yeah, it was all a bit anti-climatic in the end. Thankfully so. I really wouldn't want to be Biden for all the tea in China, he's inherited one hell of a # show. I really hope he has the balls for it. If not, perhaps Harris has.

I watched a documentary series on BBC iPlayer, The Trump Show. I hadn't quite appreciated how much of Trump I had successfully blocked out over his term. I feel a little more brought back up to speed. What seems clear though is that nobody expected him to win in 2016, not even him and that clearly in no small part due to the Russian influence (and email dump).

I don't like the man, but he is what he is. He was clearly out of his depth, not even remotely interested in what is required to administrate the US or in listening to anyone other than himself. I don't think that Trump is anyone's puppet though, what should be obvious though by now, is that there are a core of his supporters that are on Russia's string and have been played like fiddles whether they are aware of it or not.

The US is in possession of some great minds. There is hope yet but I am not yet hopeful.

Mr.Tease is famous now, won't show us anything.
I'm waiting for 3(?) years to get to see and hear his guitar so....

Netherlands is rioting. Against the 'rona 'measures'... huh curious, if there were such a thing as democracy you wouldn't expect that many people world wide having to employ the last resort to voice their displeasedness....
(that's the same as not-amused-ness)

In general I'm all for #-the-system, but to say it with the words of a famous kangaroo "cool, we can be friends. But after the revolution it will get difficult"
I like democracy, not as it is, but as principle.
But this *circles finger above head* ain't working.
I don't want to vote for faces, but for solutions.

Yes no doubt he is far too busy quaffing champayne and nibbling on ovum based delicacies.

The Netherlands thing appears to be violently bored "youths". I doubt they've thought much through beyond relieving that boredom by lashing out. Teenagers are somewhat reknowned for their volatile nature, I'm surprised we haven't seen more of this. It must be hard to be young right now...I'm in no way condoning their behaviour and agree that as far as things go, they have little to complain about but young and stupid often do go hand-in-hand. They want to live and experience. Now they have. I personally wouldn't be all that hard on them - statewise, parent wise might be different (for there the true responsibility lies
).

I'm utterly bored with it all. The virus. The US Presidency. Boris friggin' Johnson (ughh!!).

That the influence of the old house was unwholesome, he could not deny; but traces of his early morbid interest still held him there. He argued that the fever alone was responsible for his nightly phantasies, and that when the touch abated he would be free from the monstrous visions. Those visions, however, were of abhorrent vividness and convincingness, and whenever he awaked he retained a vague sense of having undergone much more than he remembered.

Haha...games wise I seldom venture beyond Freecell and Solitaire. Maybe the odd game of Monopoly or Scrabble if I'm feeling adventurous but my son may just love it, so I will book mark it for future (birthday) reference.

I'm currently debating whether to buy one of these...

I'm trying to convince myself that it's something I need and not just want.

(I must have it!!!!!)

I sometimes have to double check if the oven is off. If I had something that can go up to 1000°C I'd be #ing catatonic in front of it the rest of my life!
No offence after you told me that you sometimes tend to get lost in thoughts.... maybe you shouldn't?
Aren't in your area too workshops or studios where you can 'rent' oven-time?
Just a thought.
Or really good insurance?

I will have you know that I'm perfectly safe with fire as long as I don't mix it with chemicals (or laboratory grade alcohol) then I have been known to ignite myself, but otherwise - never. I have been using a torch and a gas burner but I can't get the consistency of heat that I need to do the job right. Not so much as singed myself.

I only zone out with everything else - walking, talking, work-stuff, when I am art and crafting, total focus. And parenting, I can go 0 to 60 in no time when needed.

Do you do pottery or clay things?
We had a kiln in 7th grade in the classroom..
It's pretty self contained and safe except maybe fumes or something like that. As far as I remember what seems like ancient history now.

I made an Alligator on a landscape glazed in like 7 colors. It was displayed for awhile at school.

I had no intention of being artistic at the time. Just 7th grade easy class.. pretty girls.. crazy art teacher. It turned out amazing.

I hated school like being in prison. I had a 13 year sentence no bond no chance of a shortened sentence with good behavior.. but that class among a few other ones I actually learned and had people I could learn from to look up to. As usually I dont really look up...

Nostalgia!

My mind now is like younger Reverbs you had so much! Wish you enjoyed it more. But me now couldn't enjoy it now like I could have then when I was more innocent..

And in that same way we should enjoy now if we can. And later us will be like damn wish I could have enjoyed that better...

PS

I'm always catching things on fire at work.

If I made up a German word for how I felt in my youth..

It would be like,

Weltregelmenschengarten.

And I was like people are crazy. I dont want to be a people.. Especially not people being grown through rule as productive pieces of a garden, on purpose without asking me what I think purpose is.

You should have asked me first as polite humanity.

Hahaha...

Maybe you could start making the band t-shirts?

Earth Period People Garden.

And they called it "global warming."
It's really just that time of the month?

E.P.P.G!

The first album could be called

"Cycles"

First track?

"The Great FLOOD."
