Im under hurricane force drizzle and a light breeze...
But somehow the power is out..
Leaves arent even moving.
Im off internet..
44% phone battery will last me 2 days on ultra power save mode.. much longer with phone screen off and yea..
Its being fixed these guys are local but theres like 40,000 electrical guys ready to fix whatever. Laughing a lot they are.. oh does that function
like a big light switch lol? So the first dude must have tried "unplugging it and plugging it back in." Didnt work but impressive dexterity from the
ground..
Well I just learned something about working on power lines.. first turn off the switch then thread the line tighten it, back off, flip the switch
again and boom we haz lightz and cheezburgerz again.
I guess the switch is called a "cut out."
Maybe he put in a new fuse but it only took a minute to do so im not sure.
here we are
a fuse cutout or cut-out fuse is a combination of a fuse and a switch, used in primary overhead feeder lines and taps to protect distribution
transformers from current surges and overloads. An overcurrent caused by a fault in the transformer or customer circuit will cause the fuse to melt,
disconnecting the transformer from the line. It can also be opened manually by utility linemen standing on the ground and using a long insulating
stick called a "hot stick".
So take your hot stick and Cut It Out...
Lol..
