Never would have thought ATS would side with the elite

OH brother, can you lay it on any thicker?

The elite are the only ones who benefit from this.

It's already been said that the agreement would do very little to affect climate change and in fact, other countries would be allowed to continue to increase avenues of energy that the US would not. Especially China who has surpassed our level of CO2 output, and India which is close behind, would continue to create unlimited new coal mines for years to come, with no restrictions. It was basically a false climate "pact" fund in which to pour billions of dollars only to shovel into the already wealthy's pockets, kind of like the UN. And similar to the UN, every 5 years, the 'fees' would increase and more and more money would be poured into a bottomless pit never to be seen again. Just another shell game. Trump is following through on his promise to keep jobs in America. BTW, even Rand Paul was 100% against the short sighted deal Obama signed through an EO. We can be responsible without paying billions to be responsible.

It's a bad decision internationally because countries have lost faith with USAs word. If USA developes a reputation of not honouring promises why make a deal in the first place.

Apart from countries international businesses like stability.

So true even if you ignore the impact on the global climate, this sends a message to the world that America no longer stands by its international commitments.

Lets see how the major world powers will react shall we?

The Chinese won't care, The Russians sure as hell won't care. India won't care. Brazil won't care.

Only the Europeans will care and they become more irrelevant on the world stage with each passing day. The world order is changing and the European Globalists and Neoliberals will likely have no part in it's future.

In a hundred or so years
and according to Al Gore, parts of the U.S should be under water by now.

True, true.

Al Gore on the other hand thinks it's because of him, it isn't.

And so does his wife.

What a utter moron.

Honestly this is just awful, utter crap.

Climate change denial at this level is total insanity, science is not a opinion, we are heading towards a climate disaster and Trump has just put the nail in the coffin.

Belly laugh LOL

I did not hear trump deny climate change, he denied joining a deal he felt that would harm the united states. He also stated his goal was to make the united states the cleanest country in the world. The cleanest air, the cleanest water and the cleanest energy. He renounced the donation of hundreds of billions of dollars for foreign nations to improve their energy means and stated he would prefer to invest that money in the united states to improve its own energy production and use.

Correct me if im wrong but that sounds far better than allowing another country the opportunity to abuse US money.

Im not american by the way, i did not support trump how ever his point for not signing this agreement makes sense. He also stated he would be happy to renegotiate the agreement with the explicit purpose of protecting the american people and their interests.

Trump stated that he wants to bring back the coal industry,
do more oil drilling in the US, open out the fracking ...

In sum, Trump wants the the US to go back to fossil fuels
But homegrown ones to divest from foreign oil
That's the US's choice

The 'problem' is that the exploration and exploitation of said fuel sources
It's very chronophage, costly and highly polluant
That's why other countries stopped

As a signatory to the agreement, the US would be in breach
and potentially liable to whatever 'fines' were agreed upon at the start

For sure, i get the argument 'we need jobs'
that's fine, it's not a biggie

but i'm not convinced it will create that many jobs
Just out of interest; how many exploitable coal mines exist in the US ?

Don't forget, if you all went back to coal fired power plants
and if homeowners went back to coal heating too, let's say
Then pollution will sky rocket

...
Look at China a few months back - smog in the 21st century !
...

Untold tons of carcinogens released into the atmosphere
on heatwavey days, the air will be saturated with crap
Upper tract respiratory illnesses will increase
Asthma for kids, emphesymia for oldies ...

As an offshoot maybe : a new diabolical plan to kill off the less privileged but that's just me being cynical

No, he has not. Dont be so ignorant.

To me holocaust denial and climate change denial are just as bad.

It amazes me how you guys not see how this just plays to the global elite.

Man made global warming is a scientific fact.

The only people who benefit from America pulling out of these accords are the global elite, the oil and gas conglomerates.

Yup that's right just like with Obama care we would see health care premiums go down by $2,500/month.

Nothing but lies, nonstop lies
