Point taken! (I added 'jk' to my last post). When do you think this might be resolved, Gordi?

All is well in the land of short stories.

We had some shenanigans and thanks to some observations from members, it's been taken care of. Staff policy means I won't be going into details, suffice to say that we'll be keeping a closer eye on entries and voting in general.

Big thanks to Gordi for all his hard work as well. Results of the June contest will be posted at some point soon.

Damn Russians can't keep their hands out of anything.

Congrats to all the winners, the top 5 are all seperated by like .5 a point, what a close battle.

A nice try and a pat on the back to the rest of us loser's. We'll make it one day.

And I vote for Augustus to have a special custom title.

all this reading and judging takes more time and effort than most realize, if one is trying to be fair and not picking at random. (as a former teacher I unnerstand this).

rather have it right than right now.

I think we're.... just about there Wookie.
I'm just waiting for final confirmation from the mods/staff.

So what's all the hoopla about?! I don't think I read any stories that violated T&C. Did I miss one or was somebody just too sensitive?

My only complaint.

Hi folks,
Sorry for the long delay.

It was brought to my attention that there was some foul-play with regards to the voting.
I am not permitted to discuss the details of this. (T&C's) But the Mods have been looking into it.

Suffice to say that, I am not convinced that I can rely on validity of the latest contest results, and will therefore not be publishing them. So, it is with regret that I have decided to declare the June contest null and void.

My apologies to everyone who entered, read and voted.

I will launch a new July contest asap.
