This can't be good....

Oleg V. Deripaska, a Russian oligarch once close to President Trump’s former campaign manager, has offered to cooperate with congressional committees investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election, but lawmakers are unwilling to accept his conditions, according to congressional officials. Mr. Deripaska’s offer comes amid increased attention to his ties to Paul Manafort, who is one of several Trump associates under F.B.I. scrutiny for possible collusion with Russia during the presidential campaign. The two men did business together in the mid-2000s, when Mr. Manafort, a Republican operative, was also providing campaign advice to Kremlin-backed politicians in Ukraine. Their relationship subsequently soured and devolved into a lawsuit.

This investigation just gets more complicated with an interesting cast of characters.

I have a feeling where this investigation will eventually be focused. The WH is in total meltdown.

according to three congressional officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the issue publicly.

Hope they find out who the leaks are and have their asses arrested!

I am quite curious why there is not a broader public outcry against this behavior. If one is not authorized to discuss an issue publicly, they should Not do that. Pretty simple.

I have to tell you the the NYTs and the WP have both produced such crappy reporting that I wouldn't believe them if they reported that is was cold in the winter. They and other media have done this to themselves in an attempt to remain relevant and financially liquid.

I am certain that some of their stories have some truth in them but I am unwilling to sort it out through all of the BS. So, for me i simply am done with them. Want to prove something? Show me real evidence or go home. The BS stops here

Looks like the investigation is digging up some proof that Trump schemed his way to the presidency through the Russians.

Oh man.. the Trumpledites on this forum are going to melt down.

Either that or they will say... "Its all BS!! He was framed by the establishment!"

I think the "leaks" are coming from the FBI, from the investigation itself, in a steady drip, every week.

Why?

To inform the public before the hammer comes down!

They're going to bring it down and bring it down hard... I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of Pentagon generals were running the states this time next week.

the only relevant data is from 2015 to now though. these people were doing things way before running for office. No this is confirmation bias yet again.

Every agency is gunning hard to keep the pressure on potus. Even his own people are leaking data.

Is it just me, or did the last potus spend more time appointing these career criminals to do his bidding after he was out of office than he spent actually working to solve national problems?

I hope the leaks keep coming to the point that agencies turn on each other, and internal management start reading each other out for immunity.
If the truth came out about these people, vigilante Justice would reign free and shed our country of the decievers.

Shut them all down.
Every agency. Every position of power. Replace them all and let the criminals face Justice.
At least then we'd see some real progress.

How is that??

If they were doing stuff before 2015 why would that not be significant??

You think they just decided to stop and the Russia was like "Ok, nice working with ya. Bye Bye." Then never spoke again???

Please. If they were working together before 2015 it's even more likely they were still colluding together.

BUsiness is business. their past deals do not have any bearing on the current ones. If thats the case then i am sure alot of dems would be tied to this as well. do you want the dems to be burned at the stake too?

Also Trying people for something that does not apply to the current situation is legally wrong. Anything before th e election isnt relevant in evidence unless germaine to the case directly by transcript or evidence.

Not just the FBI.

Trump & his cohorts are just arrogant spoiled rich brats who thought they could pull this off.
Did they really think that the men & woman who have dedicated their lives to protect this country & it's interest would just lay down & accept this seditious coup attempt.

& Flynn, what an example of failing upward, gotta be a poster child for the Peter Principle.
How dumb does he have to be given his former position not to realize that his contacts & communication would be noticed.

K~

I think the freakin point is .....is that he is going to testify NOW about the Trumps association with the Russians going back many many years.

Not to mention the others that are standing in line to rat out trump. Manafort will be called eventually...do you expect that **** nubbins to be loyal to Trump or save his own skin? Something to think about...and stone and flynnn???

This isn't fake news, Obamas or Hillary fault. Trump needs to man up and go eat some icecreme with the rest of the old men.

If Trump and his crew turn out to be found innocent of all these things, it would be good, at least nobody would be able to say they were colluding with the Russians again. But you know what, I think that since they set this practice in place, all candidates for president should be thoroughly investigated from now on, all parties candidates should go through a thorough investigation to make sure they are honest and not under the control of any other country or any big corporation.

Let's make this a law. In fact, all Congressmen should be thoroughly investigated to make sure their allegence is to the American people first.

I guess we would lose every congressmen every election. We need to put hermits into these positions.

Oh, so if it wasn't for some Russian, or Russians, Trump wouldn't have been able to register as a presidential candidate, win the nomination, and have everyone vote for him so he could win?

LOL Okay

I'm not saying to charge anyone without cause. But past history shows connections and past actions. Usually you can know what someone will do in the future by what they've done in the past. You can establish patterns of behavior, who they know and their involvement, etc.

All important information to have even if it in itself isn't directly what you're looking for.

I mean, if he's a Saudi, all is well...Ask yourself this, why is Russia the enemy? I'm a 32 year old male who lives in this wonderful country and I don't think of the Russia is bad... Global markets create situations where interactions are inevitable... I just find it funny how you liberal Hillary lovers blowup Trump for any Russia connections but seemingly dismiss Saudi/ME money/influence

I see more collusion on Podesta's and Clinton's businesses with Russians - when both were part of Obama admin !!

And that is REAL corruption.

I am still waiting that investigation to get started.
