On him being an ethics lecturer... I feel like there is a 180 degree irony in the world now. Things are the opposite of what they appear. The ethicist is devoid of ethics. The person entrusted with care of minors is really a pedo. The cops are biased and corrupt, not benevolent. ...etc ad infinitum.

The entire political landscape in the US is madness these days. A lot of violence in the streets from pretty such all political flavors. Things are starting to break down in the US. Although, this is starting to happen in many first world western countries. Capitalism is in one of it`s later stages. Capitalist are struggling to keep their profits high and economic control strong. It got to the point in which it`s effecting things in their own backyard. People in the first world are starting to feel the squeeze that Capitalism is experiencing and they don`t like it all.

So, I`m at all surprised that people are beating each other up in the streets over political differences. First world nations tend to sway to the far right during times when Capitalism takes a serious dive. The professor will most likely get the book thrown at him in court.
