That is i'm a brainwashed conservative, despite the left controlling the press, hollywood, colleges, and most of my peers (I live in NY).

What if i'm part native american?

Dragon-kin, not sure if I've heard of that but if they aren't hurting anyone, who cares.

Surely you must be bothered by everyone who says they are part Native, often say part Cherokee when asked- from their Cherokee Princess great great great grandmother. I guess it's trying to assimilate the American experience of stereotypes that at least all Americans, especially Southerners have Native blood or is it dislike of being too white?

That's not even to mention the headdress controversy. The large California music fests to even general social media posts to models displaying them, had people calling out the costuming as appropriation.

Eh, it doesn't bother me that much, you see since my father was adopted he's not sure of the exact percentage that he is Mohegan. He does know however that his biological father's name was Wolf-in-den if that matters. If anything it just proves, to me anyway that we are all the same underneath it all, and shouldn't get so fixated on things like that. If Native American Culture makes you happy, life is short celebrate it. Why do I have to show DNA evidence to acquire access to something I truly admire?

What the hell does this have to do with the OP?

Seriously, cant you keep your pseudo slandering concerning USA politics to the mud pit please and stop polluting non USA political threads.

And people get snarky when us people not interested in USA politics voice our opinion about USA political trolling.

But glad you got an intellectual erection if that made your sad day brighter.

If the SJW mob are so worried about stealing other peoples culture why is Moldylocks their hero?
I'm pretty sure that Rastafarians don't really like us white folk having dreadlocks.
Unless she is a genuine Indian Sadhu?
She seems far too middle class and violent if you ask me.
For those who wear their hair like that, it has an actual meaning over and above fashion.

strip club tacos

mmm.... tacos at a strip club, you don't say??? Sounds like my kind of snack

Please do go on and elaborate

Don't do it, trust me. Fish tacos and old mayonnaise is not something you want.

Ahh this is all just stupid though.

I guess I'm a cultural dealer. I sent a boomerang (not my culture) to someone in Missouri (not Australian) and therefore I'm guilty of some cultural crime.

As the boomerang... get bent.. lol

If school cafeteria sushi is crap, don't buy it. If it's good, enjoy. It's food.

I tend to get the impression that cafeteria sushi would more likely be off, I mean, trusting someone who has no idea about hygiene to serve raw fish to students, makes me a little wary..

Thinking of the people who make the food in schools, that is.. back in my day it was just melted cheese on a bun cut in half for 20 cents. and even then, the buns were stale..

Again, this proves their hypocracy, their narrative changes to suit whatever control they are looking for...
So if the dominant culture *ignores* you, they’re evil.
And if they “appropriate” you, they’re evil too.
This is the postmodernist age.
Decontextualised, ambiguous, paradoxical, surreal.
Nothing is absolutely “this” or “that” anymore.
Anything can mean anything or nothing.
Try to catch up.

Bud if you knew my sense of humour you would run a mile with your dick/tail between someone elses legs...

Just sick and tired of certain people screwing up good threads and ruining ATS for what it used to be.

That is all.

Thank you

Cultural appropriation:

1. Oppenheimer
2. Nike
3. Beer

Arabs wreck more Nissan GTR's than Japanese own.
Sunglasses.

Sarongs.

Psychedelic drugs.

Subway.

Susceptible to propaganda.

Putting Soda into wine and calling it a Spritzer really pisses me off...

My In-laws have a vineyard over here in France and it always makes me want to vomit a little in my mouth when I hear our American cousins act all classy and think they know everything about France because they read a Dan Brown novel when they come over here and ask for this "beverage".

The French waiters always piddle themselves laughing at the lack of cultural knowledge of tourists...

WINE... by ITSELF PLEASE...

Should I put home made Mayonnaise on an all well known chemical American created burger?? :

I don't know if sushi at a cafeteria is cultural appropriation. Whatever it is, it's a bad idea.

Like strip club tacos

You didn't think that analogy through, did you?

Next time someone gets mad at you for appropriating their culture -snip

Gonna guess that pretty much nobody on ATS has had this issue on the streets. Outside of some very fringe hyper-progressive safe spaces in berekley and perhaps a museum in NYC during summertime, such stuff lives as internet nonsense only...the place where autistic screeching is amplified due to them being just endless lolcows

Lets hope it stays that way.

Whelp, dreads go back a heck of a lot farther than Rastafarians.

en.wikipedia.org...

Some of the earliest depictions of dreadlocks date back as far as 3600 years to the Minoan Civilization, one of Europe's earliest civilizations centred in Crete (modern Greece).[6] Frescoes discovered on the Aegean island of Thera (modern Santorini, Greece), depict individuals with braided hair styled in long dreadlocks.[5][6]

It's pretty safe to say that anyone trying to say a white person wearing dreads is appropriating black culture needs to do some simple homework before making such ridiculous accusations. Dreads have been a part of many, many, many cultures and races throughout recorded history.
