I'm afraid that you are misinterpreting what happened.

That idea was considered even before that post. I wonder if Seth would go through KDC instead of directly to WL. Seems like a risk. It would mean another person knows he was the leak. What was the trust level they (kdc - Seth) had, if any.

So what happened then??

Clearly not what was promised and cheered about by so many.

As is mentioned in the screen shot of the conversation above...
How exactly does one get information directly to Assange, when he is being watched so closely?
It totally makes sense to have a middle man collecting the information, to then be processed by those responsible for verification.
WikiLeaks is not one person. Assange has made that clear.

KDC was being watched big time. Tracing it would have been easy for the PTB.

edit:

Hmmm. Maybe that's why he is dead...

KimDotCom did not tell us what he has. But he says that he will send it to authorities.
That is the best thing to do.
The complainers are just complaining because he did not lay it all out on-line.

It is worth giving the authorities a shot at it first.
If it was just blasted on-line, the MSM and thousands of others in the liberal mechanism would have torn it apart, whether they had good reason or not.
It also would have tainted the evidence.

Kim let people know that there is something, and that the case is not dead, and that we are being lied to.
That's something.

Maybe, but he seems to have a pretty large network.
Assange was stuck in an embassy. Big difference.

What authorities care? If the locals covered it up and FBI didn't seem to act, who is going to?

Now I wonder if using KDC was how he was outed and therefore ended up dead. Lots of paths...

I just kept hearing how it was going to be huge and bring about the destruction of the entire DNC and Hillary was going to jail and things would never be the same because it was going to blow the lid off of everything......and......nothing.

So I can imagine anyone who believed any of that might be a bit disappointed. They thought it was going to be the day they've been dreaming about for ever.

What a waste.

It's the internet. It makes talk cheap and very load while containing little.

It's not nothing.
Perhaps the new FBI director will be more effective and actually investigate, especially with this additional evidence.

Wasnt the original story that Seth leaked to Gavin Macfayden?

Also its not hard to release that amount of emails.. you dont need to do it in segments, you dont need to be a genius.

Put them into a PST and use a simple - encrypted means to upload them.

ie hightail.com

He wouldnt have needed Kim Dot Com, any laptop in an internet cafe could upload a pst to hightail and send the link to Gavin to be passed to wikileaks. Easy!

I'm retracting the total I just quoted, because that was from long before the end of the releases.

One release - just one of the total was 19,000 emails with 8,000 attachments on the night before the Democratic Convention.

Remember that they did not release everything that they had.

2,576,914,890 bytes = 2.5GB which again is easily done with a PST File

Also, not ALL of those leaks came from Seth. Guccifer for example was not Seth leaking to them, Guccifer hacked and took it themselves so Seths release would be less but regardless.. Its not had to get a 2.5GB file from point a to point b utilising online filestorage..

as for the person mocking USB.. well why the hell not?

Copy a pst to usb
encrypt it with any of the free tools out there.
throw it in an envelope and send it off

Yeah I pulled those totals.
That source was early before the total release.

And again - they did not release everything that they had.

Are you kidding right now? Kim Dotcom admitting to being involved and having knowledge that Seth was the leak is so huge, you obviously have no idea the magnitude of this. It's obvious you set unreasonable expectations just so you can shoot this down when they are not met... Luckly Kim Dotcom is smarter than you.

Kim just put his life on the line, and you better believe he was ready for this moment. The best part is that Kim has the money, the lawyers, and the intelligence to do this revelation correctly without spoiling the evidence for a real investigation. If Kim just outright reveals all connections and evidence (to meet your silly expectations), that evidence most likely would become spoiled, and would no longer be admissible in court. That's how it works.

If evidence is revealed to the public, and everyone in the world knows about it, it would be difficult to find an unbiased jury. The evidence used would then become inadmissible in court. Thankfully Kim and his lawyers are doing this right...

This is big. This is huge. The first domino of the DNC just fell.

No, you have it wrong.

It's not my expectations at all.

I never expected anything to come of this. But others claimed the heavens would fall and the seas would boil on Tues. when he revealed what he knew.

I admit it is hot here in cali today, but not sea boiling hot.

If that were the case, he wouldn't be talking so much.
