It doesn't mater what women look like. Men will always find them attractive.

Imagine going in for a hug and feeling two shrubs under your arms...that doesnt float my boat.

Just means more women for the rest of us.

As an avid beach goer, I am calling total BS on their maths.

Porn is a better barometer, they are not going the "more" hair direction.

Who did they survey, the Huffpo staff?

Not a big fan of hairy women myself. But as long as it's less than mine I would probably eventually get used to it or just adjust if needed. It's their body so it's up to them really.

My woman is basically hairless naturally so it doesn't matter either way.

Still would probably want the down stairs trimmed a bit though. Not a huge fan of the 70's style monster bush either.

I stop using coconut oil on my pits cos I started to get a burn like rash now I just use baking soda and a little water, no stink for 3days or more. Also have nt shaved my pits for about 2cm worth of time and mine are have a lot more hair than Julia Roberts in that pic. I do prefer hairless legs on men and woman tho. My husband is basically hairless but that's just his genetics.

There is nothing as infuriating as a woman who thinks she owns her own body and can do with it as she pleases.

Not cool.

I think I'm my area more man shave their armpits(+ body and legs) because somebody told them it's manly and sporty. How manly it is I can't comment, but if you are into some sweating sport, it's nit unwise to do so.

Now, I understand these girls who don't want to be stereotyped and said no to shavings, but still, if they have a lot of hair anywhere it should be considered to be taken care of somehow. If they can keep it fresh and clean, then its completely fine by me to be there.

Not a fan either.

Seems very masculine to let the under arm garden grow. Then again I must be part of the yolk of oppression that these poor women are railing against better known as social expectations.

Huh? Masculine? It's completely natural. What's not natural is constantly shaving to remove the hair. There is nothing 'icky' about it as shaving is a completely social construct and not required to be a functional living being. You won't die from not shaving your pits. You're not some Typhoid Mary either. And, it's no more gross and smelly than a guy with unshaven pits if you keep yourself clean.

Honestly, I don't even understand the attitude from people about this.

they are obviously free to do what they want with their bodies... and I hope they understand that some guys are free to say no thanks Ill pass.

Is it shallow... sure you can make that argument..but people like what people like.

Lots of men on this discussion board. I can tell.

Women should not feel obliged to conform to a stereotype imposed by men, advertising, or anyone else. If you are a poor man who cannot cope with women looking different from what you want, then move along. They probably don't like your fat, blubbery beer-belly, hairy back and nose hairs.

Consider it progress. After all, shaving underarms is only a recent phenomenon in the developed West.

And so are indoor toilets - you can go outdoors and save the planet, I prefer clean shaven underarms on my wife.

...it is worth noting that shaving has now been linked to skin cancer in woman probably down to whatever they put on after they have shaved the region.

I believe a correlation has been established between use of chemical preparations including deodorant and talcum powder and increased risk of breast cancer.

But of course, the media 'debate' about this focuses on male opinion rather than women's health. I have encouraged my daughters to take a more self-valuing view on this, use more natural products, go au natural. Be part of the 25% (and growing?) of women that put breast health ahead of pleasing their partners.

Why would anyone shave their armpits with a razor? Just use a trimmer. I shave my armpits and I am a dude.

Why would you want a bush of gross hair in the place you sweat most. It's gross, man or woman.

If you shave you don't really need deodorant either.

You're right. That's why men work out and remove unwanted hair. I suspect women do the same.

What's funny is that this new "Free From" idea is a fad just like removing your hair was long ago.

Everyone should just do what they want. Not because your part of some new or old gimmick.

This is just not on... women need to be hairless so that when they are cooking no hair falls into the food.

It's risky though. Totally hairless and just a little lotion on them and they get really slippery. You may not be able to catch them if they try and escape. They'll be way too slick to get a grip on them.

I suggest chaining them to something solid first.

It's better not to use chains... just lock the door to the kitchen and have a food hatch. The door can be unlocked for further access to the appropriate rooms at the appropriate times.

Oh, I am joking just in case any feminists are reading
