On Tuesday, Fox News host Bret Baier made a surprising disclosure. His show, Special Report, was struggling to book guests. Tuesday’s episode centered around allegations in a memo that U.S. President Donald Trump had asked former FBI director James Comey to close his investigation into former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn over Russia links. No Republicans, Baier said, were willing to go on camera and defend their president.

This can't be good for the WH. Apparently the GOP is looking forward to the 18 elections and doesn't want to be tainted with the Trump scandals.
But realistically, does President Trump even need Fox. He has Alex Jones and many ATS members on his side and that should be enough to see him thru these rough times.

Well there is a couple of ways to look at this

The pure hearted repubs are afraid of the stink of Trump clinging to the pure white robes.

Trump is really starting to make changes to the f-ed system and the real string pullers are telling the repubs to have their fake outrage.

A mix of the 2

When Republicants & Demoncrats team up is usually a very solid indicator that the American people need to zig when they are zagging.

I am curious to know what exactly those changes are.

I would think that if the R's and D's are together on something is a good indication that something is good for the US citizen and it is taking power from the R's and D's.

Not saying they are happening, I am saying that maybe a good indication of why the R's and D's are together.

Do you read anything other than "Rawstory"? I must have seen you link that source at least 10 times the last few days.

It isn't exactly the most non-biased source out there.

OT, in my opinion, if BOTH parties in DC hate you you might be on the right track.

When you said 'Trump is really starting to make changes' I took it to be that he is already in the process of making those changes. So you are saying he is not making any changes?

He wants to crackdown on lobbying, and impose term limits on senators.

Do you disagree with this?

I gave 2 examples of what could be happening.

If both parties are pissed I am happy.

The above poster said he is doing something. This is just a wish list that he cannot implement unilaterally.

I have made myself very clear over the course of my posting history that I am very much against lobbying.

All you did is make vague references. What exactly is Trump doing?

What non biased source do you recommend? Trumps Twitters?

Guess what...I'm about to start another thread with Rawstory sourced.

Same here...I hear a lot of talk about "all the accomplishments" but I haven't seen any real accomplishments...just a lot of bravado and talk.

None.

Your entire approach to stories is backwards.

Why should the news need guests in the first place? This is largely the problem people have with the "news" today; It's more conjecture from "experts" than facts and this may best thing to happen to the news in half a century.

Certainly not Fox.

Even Buffet dumped his stake in that cluster eff.

He announced the creation of a new election regulatory committee, one that will target election fraud from both sides.

His very presence in office has deterred illegal immigration by 50% in the past 6 months.

In fact, he has already moved the very first piece of the border wall in place to Arizona.

Despite the constant manufactured opposition in the media, I'd say Trump has accomplished a hell of a lot in the time he has been in office.

But I know, you're just too cool for Trump. You're so anti-establishment Augy.

"News" in America isn't meant to be informative. It's a business, with ratings and advertisers, program managers and news readers with short dresses and big lips. It's capitalism.

Find a demographic and tailor your programming to those people. $$$$
