really
still
what part of the story is false or
i was in the room it did not happen do you not get?
mcmaster made both those statements

The Post said Trump revealed classified information from which sources and methods information could be inferred, not that he discussed them directly. McMaster started by saying, "The story that came out tonight as reported is false." The caveat of "as reported" suggests there is a point that can be niggled over.

I am hoping McMaster and Tillerson will give a more definitive statement tomorrow specifically rebutting each allegation head on in a declarative manner, rather than a general "It didn't happen" where "It" isn't defined and can be used as a legal loophole.

Why should they make another statement?

WaPo bluffed and it has been called. Unless they have the goods and that just might include outing their source.

The country that shared the intel is going to assume the worst.

Wouldn't that be just a tad presumptuous? First it would have to be true. Then the POTUS could easily call and clarify what was said.

Perhaps this isn't you but it seems as if everyone is not taking into consideration that Donald Trump is the POTUS and has a plethora of tools at his disposal. That includes late night phone calls to nation leaders.

I sure hope they are using everything at their disposal because the last thing we need is to lose all our assets.

He does have to fit in many roles right now. His military rank does not matter as soon as he sits in that room.

can you not read english?

That was a stupid try to insult/hassle me. I am not insulted but your postings are now more debased to me.

His statement is ambiguous and will be picked apart by lawyers abroad. Use your head.

Integrity.. You mean that doing some military things and getting a medal or two for them shows that that person is a better person than someone else?

You do know that there were/are armys in the world whose medal-wearing members are people you would not like?
Do you know about the Waffen-SS? They had medals, too.. Okay, I am not comparing the army with the Waffen-SS, but a medal is not something I would look at and think "oh wow, this is a better man than me! He did some military things and someone higher up thought they were great and now he can wear this medal and even the prostitutes in the shady parts of town should give him a discount or something!".

How did the Washington Post think they could get away with such a blatant, easily proven LIE? Are they so desperate for publicity that they'd skewer the President and our country in the process? If so, they need to be PUNISHED.

you understand the senste had to have a special vote to allow mcmaster to continue to serve active duty AND be DNS?
he most certainly is still ACTIVE DUTY at ALL times
his rules are MUCH more strict than anyone else in the administration

i will not repost mcmasters statement
the fact you asked for the source reflects you know squat about this issue
yet you continue to talk out of your ass

questioning the integrity of a serving career military officer debases you

The "it" is unspecified. That is the problem.

The dog is good.
The cat is bad.
It is flatulent. ← what is the "it"? The dog, cat, both of them, or something else?

why do lawyers abroad matter?
they going to withhold pay or something?

Military bases on foreign soil come with conditions often tied to other agreements.
