Yeah, that's why chronic stoners are so stupid, right?

Don't believe everything you read.

There are exceptions to every rule, indeed.

I'm not weak, though, friend. I've definitely felt pain and got myself through it (with prayer). Yes, someone with a decent mind believes in God...

I should have been in a coffin many times. I can't deny reality.

At least i think the OP is refering to "Intelligence across childhood in relation to illegal drug use in adulthood: 1970 British Cohort Study", i couldnt open the OP link because my company blocks access to "these sites"

One poorly done test doesn't really prove anything. Everyone I know that smokes has anxiety issues, lacks motivation, and really isn't enjoyable to be around.

Anything, that for a little while, let's you step outside of yourself and the conditioning we're all raised with and see things from a different perspective is a good thing.

Thank you for this reply!

Also, mind if I ask where is this beautiful place in your picture?

I am also intelligent enough to realize that logically speaking, anything you inhale into your lungs can not be good for you in the long run.

Air?

Vaped steam with good stuff in it?

I only have personal experience to go on, but in that experience, this is true. I have only met a handful of stupid stoners and most of them are/were wicked smart.

Chronic users may start out intelligent, but they lose it the more they abuse MJ.

Maybe scientific data is BS too frequently to care about said data when it conflicts with personal observations and experience. I call fraud alert on this study.

I call you are knee jerk dismissing this article due to your biases and haven't actually read or digested the data to see if the conclusion matches the data.

No, it isn't. My ex-BIL was a smart kid, but became a complete chain-smoking stoner. He's a f***ing moron now, too stupified to work.

I don't think it makes people more stupid or less stupid.

Alcohol does make me stupid, but stupid enough that I can interact with some others at their stoner level.

Meh. Who really knows. I know that my alcohol chess is better than any pot chess I've encountered - quite easily.

So you know of one bad egg and suddenly that means that ALL cannabis users have the same results? I think you've been smoking your brother-in-laws stash.

There are a lot of bad eggs. Don't pretend. Do you live in a gated community or something?

In my country cannabis users are all criminals because it is ILLEGAL and punishable by years in prison.

Every time I spot one I report him to the cops.

If smoking illegal drugs made them smart, why are they in jail now?

I'm not saying there's nothing to the study. My own experience with people who were partaking was that they were college educated. But that was just my crowd. I never put the two together.

College educated does not equal high IQ.

My experience is the people who used it went on to not graduate high school and now work at a gas station and still live with their parents.

I used to get down with Mary and many of my friends STILL do. Every one of us makes over 100k a year.

Not to mention; many large corporations had to quit drug testing in the IT market because they were losing their best Engineers who were failing drug tests for Marijuana.

Ill hint you in on something: us Engineers don't live in our mom's basement and we definitely aren't making chump change.
