I look for the good in things. I know each and everyone of us creates our own reality that we exist in, so I don't adopt anothers reality as my own, but understand that theirs is not mine.

My problem is, when I need it most, god has never shown any sign to me. Maybe in the next life. What ever the reasons are for this punishment surely they must be paid in full. And this world around me, to my eye, is not one a loving god would believe in.

Did it make you change your view on the universe? It showed me how infinite the universe is. It's a little scary since you feel you are saved from hell only by the grace of God's intelligence and power.

Have any of you experienced God?

I understand that you have this feeling, but don't you think it is a bit odd that you get to be so convinced when most people don't get that kind of convenience? Why do you think you had this revealed to you and so many people, even those who could use it far more than you, don't get this feeling? Do you think some people fake it?

I was 21 years old. I was having my wisdom teeth taken out. The first 3 came out like butter. The 4 was impacted with twisted roots down to my soul. Even after 5 or 6 shots of Novocain I was still feeling pain from the dentist trying to remove the tooth with his pliers. After 20 grueling minutes there was sucking sound and pop. The pain was so intense everything went white. I was completely surrounding by white light. After a few minutes I woke up to see the dentist holding the tooth with his pliers and a big smile on his face.

That's funny. I was thinking just the opposite. An omnipotent God would be a complete absolute communion experience with everything including sex.

that is a bit odd, because i have no notion of god, and i still feel really happy and i feel like i have a lot of love for everyone as well. It seems odd because you base so much on this thing that may not exist. But i would imagine that if god was disproven to you tomorrow, you would still have a lot of love.

I am, for the most part, an open book... I do hide behind self depreciation and joke a lot, but honesty is something I hold close. Being honest. Nothing is too personal, if honesty prevails.

I'm right there with you brother feel like I'm not even Human and I'm imprisoned here with these savages, All I can say Is I must be pretty important to lock me up on one planet and take away my knowledge, So I take it in stride and will make my mends when I meet the thing.

Why would God be disproven?

By which criterion would you judge the existence of a being whose intellect surpasses any human, and whose evolution made him exist at a level most humans cannot fathom?

Will you try to use reason to descredit his existence? But then, what if truth is a paradox which defies the comfort of human reason?

Btw, Ive encountered spirits on several occasions, or I should say they made their presence known. They weren't God, that much I know. They appeared like people do. "God" is misinterpreted by modern day theologians and churchians.

Do you feel separated from embodying that insight, then? Like you can only ever give it but not receive it?

That's how I feel. So to have such an experience if the true embodiment... Leaves me reeling and all I can do is gasp in ink.

But it's not denied is what I am trying to say, it's not that my spirit, my heart my soul flies away from me, it's not that God is in hiding. There's a saying "if it was a snake it would have bit you already"

God is within I can say this for fact.

We are ALL sons and daughters of the one true God by definition. I think the message of Christ has been stolen to be a cult of personality so the church can make money with salvation paraphernalia. People idolize the word Christ which is pretty much the antithesis of the spirit of what Christ was teaching.

Well, it has been my experience that we generally find what we're looking for at any given time, sooo...

I had this dream once where I came face to face with Zeus king of the Gods. I had the feeling I could ask for something but if I did not ask wisely I would be destroyed. So I asked Zeus, "Please heal my eyes". And which point in the dream Zeus put his palms to my eye sockets and then in a fast motion removed is hands away. I woke up from the dream and did not think much of it.

A few weeks later I had my eyes tested to get new glasses. My left eye got 4 lens better and my right eye got 2 lens better from my previous prescription. I'm not sure it constitutes objective evidence but that's my story.
