You identify that they have gender dysphoria when they are insistent, persistent and consistent over a period of years. You identify that they have gender dysphoria when they are in distress because their body isn't matching what they know to be true. This is way more intense than "why does brother Billy have a penis and I don't?", or a boy who likes to play with Barbie dolls all the time.
Do you know the torture that kids and their parents go through with gender dysphoria? There have been trans female kids who have attempted to cut their penises off with scissors. That's how intense it is.

So are there any objective physical markers for transgenderism? I mean a blood test, genetic test, something along those lines, that is to say, hard biological/chemical evidence that the condition is more than just psychological?

If people are doing that need serious help... Maybe they need to visit the psychiatrist?

Then look at the American Academy of Pediatrics, or the American Psychology Association, or the American Medical Association or the World Association for Transgender Health, or any mainstream medical or psychological associations.
All far-left wing liberal nuts....but they do have followers for their cults.

Now, back to page 1. any thoughts on the sources demonstrating that gender dysphoria is a physical thing? ...or did you want to talk about something else?
Are you suggesting that a mental disorder can't have a biological cause?
Are you suggesting that there may be a cure out there that doesn't involve self-mutilation?

Apparently you don't understand the word 'dysphoria' means so your opinion is dismissed.

There's kids who attempt to commit suicide too. That doesn't mean they are supposed to be dead, it means they need mental help. That's not really a point for your side of the argument.

Actually I was referring to the point made that some boys try to cut off their genitalia - certainly a mental disorder.

Ha ha - yeah all those 200,000 or so medical doctors and scientists don't know what they're talking about. But those 125 religious folks who think gay reparative therapy is great (even though it's never worked and causes more harm) - now they know what they're talking about.
Ha ha, you are making me laugh so hard right now.

Its clear, at least on this site, that there are some unfortunate like minded individuals who seek not to help, not to understand, but to target and hate, by way of ignorance and malice. The same ilk that poo poo those with schizoprenia and other conditions.
