Oh I am not saying that at all. I am saying that the author DELIBERATELY made this a Berkeley and "left" issue, making us look bad and getting people to focus on them, not the rest.

It's an SJW illegal immigrant from Berkeley.

Dont identify with them and you'll be fine.

I already told you how to 'fix' yourself on this, yet you keep popping up in SJW/Antifa threads taking all offense......

I'd bet anything that if it was a conservative white straight white male, and he unleashed the same words except for 'gay mexicans' on the '4th of July' you'd be in here with a 101% different tune about all this.

You're assuming that I hate white people or white men. What I hate are racists and supremacists of any variety and aside from the poor persecuted white man faction, lots of people that I love very much are white men.

well you should hate this guy, even if just kidding he is very obvious a racist hispanic / latino. cause even joking about killing all white people is a very racist thing to say.

I fail to see how criminality is a left/right issue, personally. I need no political leader to tell me that some colleges like Berkeley are out of control and that social media is turning quickly into an expose on everything wrong and evil in humanity.

The things I see that ties this to a 'leftist' agenda are:
  • admitted leftists have been protesting a duly-elected Republican President before he even took office, oftentimes using violence and riots.
  • the cries of "RACIST!" have been coming more form the left than the right in the last ten years or so, uttered many times without regard to facts or actual discriminatory actions or events.
  • Berkeley openly claims a leftist agenda, while positioning itself at the forefront of this kind of criminality.

To be fair, I do not pin these offenses I see happening around Berkeley on everyone who calls themselves 'liberal.' I would, however, consider it wise for such people to become more active in speaking out against such shenanigans. Failure to do so, or especially trying to excuse or condone such actions while wearing identical nametags is not a way to garner support.

That seems like a lot to assume from one tweet that he claims is a joke.

Less than the assumptions made after another man made an off-color comment/joke aboard a bus when he didn't know he was being recorded.

Just sayin'...

In conjunction with 30 some odd years in the limelight with a demonstrably less than favorable amount of respect for women. To put it politely.

The most annoying aspect of this is that leftists are the smallest voting block, but are responsible for 90% of the idiocy.

And that, thank you very much, is the point I was trying to explain above to Deaf Alien. One person says it was a joke, and his word is accepted without question. Another says the same, and it is rejected out-of-hand. The difference? Political leaning.

No matter the explanation, no matter the intensity of the defense, no matter how many others join you, no matter how many excuses are made, that is obviously prejudiced and unfair. By making a distinction where none exists, you out yourself to everyone listening and tarnish your future words. So when something like this happens at Berkeley, the anger and disgust extend not only to the perpetrator, but to his/her supporters. It becomes obvious that you value the word of a criminal who just threatened violence over that of a successful businessman.

One tweet from an unknown person (brought here as a child with no choice) versus a public figure who spent decades being a vulgar womanizer... Yeah, clearly I'm being partisan. Rather, you're being completely absurd.

I'm sure there's plenty of actual violent illegal immigrants you can use to justify your anger.

ETA: And for the record, I place higher value on the ramblings of a drunk, panhandling on the sidewalk than the lies that come of the mouth of the President of the United States. Now you can call me partisan.

One thing I learned a long time ago, that you might wish to consider:

When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

What he means is the more you speak, the more you expose your true colors, and your true color is partisan because here you are still deflecting when you should've just denounced this and moved on.

Just to let you know, by denouncing this, you aren't betraying your party or yourself, you won't be "losing" anything and you won't be losing your ego or your pride. In fact you would be doing yourself a great service and it would really help your cause in the long run.

But if you insist on deflecting some more, don't let me stop you from exposing yourself.

Vitriolic? I think vitriolic would refer to someone publicly calling for people to be beat up because they were born with the 'wrong' skin color.

Isn't that what the KKK does?

Yes vitriolic as usual. Let's reverse your lame argument... What does it say about you when you will be believe that it's "just locker room talk" but won't believe that "it was just a joke"?

What am i assuming? I don't know your party affiliation nor am I trying to project any on you.

The point I'm trying to make is that it's OK to denounce things that may go against your narrative, it's OK to defend people you don't like too, and it's OK to agree with one another, in the name of fairness and consistency.

It won't kill you, and will actually make you stronger I promise.

Just an observation and I'm being sincere when I say it will help you in the long run.

It's getting tiring debating against full blown partisan.
