No we can annihilate all of north koreas nukes instantly. In the next few minutes if we decide to. Its the freaking out and scaring the rest of the world with our abilities that were treading lightly about. Make no mistake north koreas nukes are not a deterrent to the usa. But they are a threat to the world in general.

Because NK would not be fighting to win a war, but to go with mutual assured destruction as much as possible, they are expecting national suicide.

He has proven he will strike at civilian populations to make a point. North Korea shelled a South Korean border island, Yeonpyeong, killing four South Koreans, including two civilians. It says it was responding to military exercises in the South.
So a simple exercise and they attacked a civilian population on an island. So him having a nuclear option is not a good idea

eah that was a few years back, the U.S were experts in having an unseen hand in removing gov't or heads of state they don't like, shouldn't that be more of an option than nuking it out, c'mon we used to be good at this.

China is not being honest. Anything NK does is under direction from Beijing to serve a specific purpose for China. If China needs attention diverted away from then to avoid embarrassment or prying eyes, NK is there to do the job.
If NK attacks SK, you can bet China ordered it and will be doing something major while all eyes are on NK, this will be all planned very much in advance

There's very little time for Trump to act unilaterally. The South Koreans have got an impeached president getting replaced in less than a month. Everyone knows the next SK administration will be very soft on NK.
That'll give NK five (5) years to build it's arsenal of strategic weapons.
"Urgent" is the right word, Black_Fox.
Wow!
You are one hell of a hacker to discover that. The fact is, the next SK administration doesn't matter to the US military strength in this area. Probably over throw it too just like the lady that got busted. We really don't know the truth when it comes to back door politics, other then, its a dog eat dog world out there or more bluntly, a minnow doesn't swim among the sharks if its smart.

Why does the US have to do anything?
Korea is on the other side of the globe. NK shares borders with Russia and China. If Kim is as crazy as he being portrayed, Russia and China have more to worry about than the US. Even if they chose to do nothing, there is still the United Nations. Isn't stopping rogue states the very reason for their existence?
