Wild boars overrun Islamic State position, kill 3 militants

Three Islamic State militants setting up an ambush in a bitterly contested area of northern Iraq were killed by a herd of stampeding boars, local leaders say.

What so they were trampled by this "herd" of "stampeding" boars?



I had a sow stand on my foot a few times, it did hurt though.

God/Allah does have a sense of humor.

Had this story happened in Biblical times, it probably would have been included in the Bible as some kind of evidence of divine intervention. Because we have other similar kinds of stories in it.

Thanks for the much needed laugh!!! I think the world needs to deploy more of this devastating bio-weapon.

Texas has a lot of wild bores, I am sure that people will go shoot them with tranquilizer guns to help out with national security of our country.

Texas even have hogzilla's, domesticated hogs that were raised in farms, given antibiotic medications and escaped into the wild where they grew to giant proportions.

Those wild boars are the ultimate bio-weapon. They have a strong sense of smell and memory. They can associate events with humans (planting of mines). If any of their young get hurt they'll make that association and go after humans. They would go after humans and anything on their territory. Those tusks are used for digging the ground for food and fighting off predators. They'll gore a human right through. Having just one of those charging straight at you through the wild bush would not bear thinking about, never mind a whole brood.

Just airdrop whole herds into desert bushlands beside every watering hole and oasis

I am a muslim(non hadith crap about the 72 virgins and Mohd marrying a 6 year old) but I was laughing my ass off. As a Quranist I believe they will be shocked at what they see. I think they will encounter virgin trannies with foot long penises.

You sound rather indicative of rather a few Muslim people i attended secondary school with back in the day.

People need to relies that it's only a very small percentage of disillusioned fundamentalist fanatics that entertain the notion of jihad and that most persons of the Muslim faith just wish to get on with there life rather than being rapped up or associated with religious intolerance or terrorism.

Before you dismiss this so quickly you might want to read this:

This is a paper written on wild pig attacks on humans, it documents 412 attacks reported between 1825 and 2012. 15% of these encounters were deadly and most of those deaths were of hunters...people with weapons actively searching for the animal.

So the idea that 3 militants were overrun by wild boars isn't as far fetched as you may think.

Gotta love freedom boars!

The name is a strange and funny coincidence but I think he is a legit reporter. This story also has been reported elsewhere, that doesn't make it true but it does make it a bit more likely to be true.

Sorry these guys died in such a horrible way - but glad no American's (or pigs) were hurt during the commission of this event.
