The chemical attack was false flag folks. It looks like Trump was played, and he fell for it.

As much as I hate to say that...

Right.. and you can provide the proof for what is the 'nth false flag accusation probably this month? Everything on the planet is a false flag? Apparently so, according to ATS.

This is obviously a false flag.
This is now in the dictionary right next to 9/11, Pearl Harbor, Golf of Tonkin, Reichstag fire, etc...

My point is if Congress makes a declaration of war, it won't last 15 yeas like the invasions.

Ok, but shouldn't the invasion only come after the Congress declares war???

They got the cart in front of the horse here.

The only thing I'll clarify here is that this action by Trump does not get us involved in Syria, we're already involved, thanks to Obama's half-assed and years late decisions. This just changes the dynamic. We're already in Syria.

We are now entrenched in Syria.. this is far beyond the degree we were previously involved. No matter what the rhetoric of the WH during Obama, they didn't launch a massive attack against the country. Trump himself is the one who called for Obama to completely remove our country from Syria. And as President, he has the power to do this. Instead.. he launches some 5 dozen missiles at them.

My apologies. Wasn't trying to get partisan or anything. But Vietnam was before my time so I'm not familiar with all the details on who did what and why those were started or who authorized them.

Vietnam was before my time, too, but: books. LBJ and the majority of the Democratic leadership of the 50s and 60s were virulently anti-communism (the times, how they change) and they were going to get their war by any means necessary. Enter the worst war this country ever entered into, a war purely designed to economically break the Russians who were funding the North Vietnamese. One partisan thing I'd love to still be able to say, but can't thanks to GWB's presidency, Democrats and Republicans seem to like war equally... but at least the Republicans have a history of fighting wars to win wars, not get into long, drawn out foolish balancing acts between displaying power and toning it down. Sadly, Bush screwed that up when he opted to fight Iraq and Afghanistan not to win the wars, but to win the citizens of the nation's we were enemies with.

Anyone familiar with Syria knows for a fact the official story is total nonsense.

They didn't do it in 2013. Why would they do it now? When they are winning the war?

This was a false flag, and it got the exact reaction they wanted it to.

The Kurds were never a serious threat to Saddam and he gassed them. Chem weapons aren't only used in desperation because you're losing a war. They are often used as a weapon of fear to control the population. You don't have any evidence one way or the other. But your premise that he wouldn't use them if he's winning is plain false.

just heard on fox pentagon has fight path of SU24 that dropped the Gas and possible video, and will soon release them. not sure if they were talking about the SU24 or tamahawks.

So it was a Su-24 now and not a Su-22?

So hard to keep track of the lies. It's not like you can even confuse the two aircraft.

Especially not if you have training in this field.

So you think Russia will simply step aside and allow the U.S. to remove Assad from power? Yea.. not happening. I don't think Russia is very pleased with comrade Trump, right now.

This was all just a test.
An experiment conducted by the military to see how gullible Trump actually is.

Wonder what happens next week?

according to FOX news, they are going to release the flight path of the plane that dropped the weapons, (Gas and Bombs) as well as damage video of the Air Base. Just to make some folks more "jelly belly" this was a total of just over a half megaton of TNT towards this Base. "Shock and Awe 2.0". SO it seems they not only know what was done but they have radar record of it, how interesting.

BTW Trump is not one to wait around, which makes him awesome, you may complain all you like, but he is doing his JOB!

Crazy it wasn't leaked to the media right?
The way it is supposed to happen, without advance spin time.

I see a bunch of commentators on the news right now
stumbling over their lines, because this was not rehearsed.

Trusting the ones in charge did the right thing.

Yes. And this isn't an invasion, it's a cruise missile strike.

Seriously people, stop panicking over stuff that hasn't happened yet.
