He said that no Russian planes were at the airfield and that the cruise missiles did not target any Russian facilities.

I thought this was infrastructure and chem weapons destruction mission?

If a country is going to be attacked over this issue, I would think the world would demand proof of the incident, not just the "word" of a government.
