maybe should look up the missing numbers 3, 6 and 12

Yes, that might yield something, too, although the missing numbers are 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12.

(ETA: If the poster who said the books were numbered 1, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 13, and 14, is correct, that is.)

Guys, take a closer look at the video
All the books are there except for 8 and 4. And that's only what we can visibly see.

The books aren't all sitting on the desk. The same Roman Numerals appear elsewhere in the room, and indicate that the text on the walls, roof and floor are part of the books that correspond with the Roman Numerals in those areas.

Here's screenshots of all visible Roman Numerals

It's reasonable to say that both 8 and 4 are also in the room, and they either consist of the floor/wall/roof text, and the video just simply didn't show the Roman Numerals from the angles it filmed in (Think "under the desk", or even "Under the statue", "In the middle of the "Transmutation Circle")

I have no doubts that both 8 and 4 are in that room when the film took place.

Notice also that the only other Red marker in the room is a giant Roman Numeral "1" on the wall that has those circles on it. If we look at how organized it all is, I would say that that wall falls within Book number 1 (which is also on the desk)

According to this blog, the symbols on the right are alchemy symbols. But there are many symbols for the same element.

Wow that's perfect! I'll match up this image with the video footage to see if they align. Very very helpful, thank you so much!

From a quick glance, this looks identical to the "Transmutation Circle" in the video

My recreation so far from video footage

He looks very familiar. I just can't place why.

At first I thought about the supposed demon possessed guy at Miguel Couto Hospital in Brazil, which is a good distance away, and he presented a whole month before Bruno disappeared. Plus they don't look at all alike. Though I don't know how much a demon possessed person would look like his original self.

I love Brazil. It is truly a land of mysticism and magic. Not to mention UFOs.

This is the most intriging mystery that has come across ATS in years. This story is going worldwide and mainstream.

I can't believe how much they look like each other. It gave me a chill when i saw them side by side.

I hope they find him soon. He could be wandering around in the jungle waiting for aliens. It's a little worriesome that his father has been speaking of him as if he's died or gone forever. It's been less than two weeks since he disappeared.

Any information on how he got the statue. Its not something that usual so somebody should have memories on that. Also, as I understood, the city is kinda isolated which makes it even more rare to purchase a rather rare statue. Is the material known to public? Maybe some weird clan stuff happened.. Hope he will return safely.

This is from the main article

a statue of Giordano Bruno, italian Dominican philosopher worth approximately $2500 (R$7.000).

But I have been unable to find exactly where it was bought. It is said that the statue was seen being delivered.

metatron cube on the far left.

The rest of them ask for some research hahahaha

Bruno used the same cryptography technique in that wall, i'm gonna try to translate some part of it.

If I get some free time after work today I'll try to get some clear shots of all the text I can and adjust the perspective and clarity to see if we can make it more readable.

Cryptography isn't too difficult for the most part, and it doesn't seem as though he used a very complex technique.

Keep posting higher resolution photos like this and I'll blow them up for you and make them even more clear

Thats exactly why such a purchase most likely cannot go unnoticed by third parties. Well actually I dont know a thing about regional circumstances so I cant tell for sure..

The statue appears to be more clunky than the original. The area in between the arms doesn't have the depth of the original. I wonder if he commissioned it and if it's hollow inside.

Awwwww, I didn't think of that. I don't know why but I just keep seeing him as the statue!!!! Add the hollow element and it makes it even spookier!
Here is the actual statue

And his statue

ETA: The features on the real statue seem to be much sharper. This may just be the way it looks but if he was that obsessed wouldn't you want the statue to be perfect?

I agree.

I also get the feeling that there is something off about the statue.

Good point. Ordering a copy on the masons local market would be the most convenient option. Very probable, you wont find any high quality work as the original (en.wikipedia.org...).

It would cost way too much to get a higher quality statue.

$2600 seems pretty reasonable for the statue he has. Something with similar level detail as the one above would cost over 10k US. Even more if you were to use a higher quality medium

Obviously it could just be a cheap copy, but it also looks like it could have a large hollow cavity inside. Perhaps large enough for a person to fit in.

Yes, I would say that it is likely hollow
