forced labour certainly comes to mind. So does commercial sexual exploitation.

The idea that it is distinctly different from those same conditions without the need to cross national borders illegally is mute to the fact these things happen all the time domestically, abroad, and inbetween.

The abhorrence of human behaviour at the extremes is difficult to overcome with words.

Not all human trafficing is for the sex trade or slave labor. Some is smuggling people out of #ty places. See examples that include but are not limited to: German people out of east Germany during the cold war, North Koreans escaping their home country, people escaping war like in Syria, and people moving out of famine areas like in South Sudan.

What? No. Human Trafficking is a crime, being "Human traffic" doesn't change that, and is an unofficial way to describe that behavior.

People escaped Korea. They were not controllably trafficked. It's almost exclusively sex trade.

I'm not a fan of the wall either. Walls that can keep people out can also keep people in.

But I also understand and recognize that there are some very dangerous people out there who very much want to do us harm, and therefore there are very dangerous problems inherent in letting anyone and everyone into the country without adequate controls and regulations. No one wants to build a wall just so they can admire it from afar. There are very real security issues to consider. (And that's not even considering the economic issues...)

But in all the whining and crying and moaning about "the wall," I never ever hear anyone addressing those very real concerns, much less offering a better idea. And your OP is no exception.

So I ask again: We stop the wall. Then what???

Stop him?....lol.....Mexico is not Canada......Mexico is so corrupt it has more holes than swiss cheese.....until mexico can clean up its act a Wall is needed...for that matter a wall is needed to ENABLE Mexico to handicap locate and disenfranchise the gangs now running the Country.Call it the Independence Wall and consider it Americas contribution to the growth of true and fair Mexican democracy which Trump is trying to rebuild in America now....because a stronger more profitable better managed Mexico means a stronger North America which is good for everyone and which is a step towards Continental unification.
