With how it's going, I think Trump quit before any wall gets going. He needs immediate success constantly, and the tedium of government will bore him out of office.

Build something on the border before trump does. Duh! Like maybe a moat of lava or fire? Thatll stop him

Make a ruling that only prison labor can build the wall. Use the worst of the worst of the prison system. Instruct the guards not to chase anyone that escapes across the border.

Then just sit back and let Mexico build their wall.

Alternatively, we could just declare that Mexico and Central America are part of the Axis of Evil. Invade everything down to the Panama Canal, and use that as a wall. Mexico has oil, right?

If not a wall we at least need a little picket fence along the border to keep the chupacabre out.

Banning Muslims makes about as much sense as banning people named Trevor.

I freaking hate Trevor too, but people need to understand some obvious bigger picture stuff here.

Why didn't they ban Muslims if this is the Muslim ban? That's the stupid question avoided. Because everyone would have shut it down, a ban based on Muslims, because they know some chill Muslim brothers from another Umma. So Trump got more specific, but banning people just arbitrarily from a specific country makes no sense either, or about as much sense as just banning all Muslims. Or people named Trevor from Inglewood. I freaking hate Trevor.

The main problem is you can't just generically ban Muslims. DUH, that or we can't boast about how we're so religiously free anymore at all, we have to literally take that back, like the Indian givers we are.

Try to convince me that we shouldn't build it. But try to do so without calling it racist, economic suicide, or some other nonsense.

I am asking how we can stop it, not for arguments in its favor.

The best way to stop it is to force potential illegal immigrants to instead immigrate through legal means. This would dismiss the need for a wall in the first place.
