Dutch elections: Turkish minister claims 'holy wars will soon begin in Europe' after Geert Wilders

A Turkish minister has claimed "holy wars will soon begin" in Europe, in spite of the defeat of far-right leader Geert Wilders in the Netherlands elections.

Mevlut Cavusoglu, Turkey’s foreign minister, did not welcome the victory for Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s centre-right People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD).

“Now the election is over in the Netherlands...when you look at the many parties you see there is no difference between the social democrats and fascist Wilders,” he said according to a translation by Hurriyet.

“All have the same mentality. Where will you go? Where are you taking Europe? You have begun to collapse Europe. You are dragging Europe into the abyss. Holy wars will soon begin in Europe.”

This is highly concerning to me. You have a high level official in a majority Islamic nation predicting a religious war in Europe. Turkey is also a member of NATO and until recently has been mostly secular. Erdogan has continued to consolidate power and is striving to be a dictator. I'm really not sure what additional red flags are necessary for European leaders to stop the unbridled flow of immigration. This is scary stuff.

They are now threatening to unleash a surge of refugees into Europe unless they are given VISA-free travel within the EU, which is essentially the same thing.

Wilders didn't even win, but his controversial opinions have sparked a debate in Europe and put a lot of pressure on the ruling center-right VVD in the Netherlands.

This just vindicates what he's been saying.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Christianity and Islam are being used. They are being used to rid the world of Religion, systematically. The prophesied Holy War is being used. Flood countries with violent extremist and let the blood flow, once both forces have been significantly weakened, only then will a coup d'etat be legitimately feasible. Whichever is the last religion standing will have shown the world where religion has brought us and they too will then be eliminated. Just my two cents.

You articulated my thoughts exactly. Erdogan has one of the largest standing armies in Europe and was paid to hold back a huge tide of refugees by the EU. Erdogan's actions and rhetoric have become increasingly hostile to the Dutch and the EU ministers in general. What happens when a country that should never have been permitted to join NATO attacks a NATO member?

I think this whole scenario was created by the Obama neo-cons and will ultimately be the fuse that has been lit on the Middle-East as a prelude to WWIII.

Adherents to the religion of peace have been peacefully committing cold blooded acts of peaceful murder in the name of the tolerance and cultural enrichment that Islam, and its holy wars always brings to civilised countries, for a long time.

This is all just so ridiculous.

For people like me, we are all just patiently(though frustrated) waiting for the rest to catch up.

The escalating dispute between NATO allies Turkey and the Netherlands hit a new low Sunday, with a Turkish minister escorted out of the country less than a day after Turkey's foreign minister was denied entry, prompting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to call the Dutch "Nazi remnants."

The diplomatic clash was over plans by Turkish government officials to campaign in the Netherlands for a referendum back home. Family and Social Policies Minister Fatma Betul Sayan Kaya had arrived in the country from Germany but was prevented from entering Turkey's diplomatic compound in Rotterdam, setting up a standoff with armed police. She was later sent under escort back to Germany.

As she was approaching the German border, Kaya wrote that "the whole world must take action against this fascist practice! Such a treatment against a woman minister cannot be accepted."

I am inclined to both agree and disagree. There is a global agenda and that is to usurp the throne of a higher power. The elite have realized that they cannot have their way with mere science and philosophy, so now things will have to get ugly. Through subversive migrant flooding they will have indirectly kicked off a holy war in which there will be no winners and the only spoil is to publicly display where religion has brought us as a civilization and by doing so to lead mankind away from the higher power into the clutches of madness.

We are setup for a major global war, where and how it will start is still a question. The Bankers needs a war, they know the current financial system will collapse and they do not want the blame. A major war will occupy the minds and efforts of the people of the world and reset the world financial markets. I wish there is a way out but it may be already too late. No matter who is in charge this coming global conflict is already set up ... it is a giant powder keg waiting for a spark.

I hate to tell you, but if and when these religious wars start in Europe, they will surely start in North America and Australia as well. It'll be time to kick the tires and light the fires. Saw a good meme the other day, moderates are the blades of grass the radical snakes hide within. I think the main problem is that the moderates and assimilated will not step up to the plate and denounce or help stop this madness. But, who knows, maybe they will.

There#s already areas of Europe which have become ghetos for radicalisation.

The peaceful religion has contradicted itself once again. I guess it all boils down to a us vs them scenario. The people who see religon as the evil it really is and the blind followers like the christians and muslims who worship their imaginary gods. Our immigrants are getting restless and attack refugees left and right daily. My country is already a powderkeg and all it takes is one more spark to set it off. I will never understand how so many people could be so freaking blind to see the truth about religion. Religion is a thing of the past. Eradicate this crap once and for all and lets move on.

Being a decent human being is not that freaking hard. Who the f#ck needs a manual for that? F#ck all gods. I swear if anyone of my family comes to harm because of some religious zealot i will hunt them down and make them pay.
