Which legal precedents are you referring to?
What are you talking about?

Which is also something to consider. Which is why I said, right from the start he could have just deflated the whole thing by saying "Hey it's just me tweeting out of anger." or "Hey I was drinking that night with Bannon and said some stuff that was maybe not 100% right." Anything. But he double and tripled down on it that for sure he's right and made it into a giant rush to find some way, anyway to make him correct now.

It's the folly fo too much pride. Too much ego to admit to the smallest misstep so all effort goes into making reality somehow fit the fantasy of the ego.

Fair point. But I'm left wondering why the outrage? It was a tweet.

A series of tweets, actually. In which Trump accused Obama of tapping his phone. Said Obama tapped his phone.

What are you talking about when you asked about precedent?

No. But since one has nothing to do with the other what does that matter???

Unless Two wrongs make a right and nobody sent me the memo??? Did that change recently???

Regardless of what the Dems did wrong doesn't make this wrong into a right somehow does it???

That is a false argument and I know you know that and you know I know it too. So you can stop using it.

I happen to think that a president should not spout to the general public everything that pops into his head. Actually, I don't think anyone should, but the president is in a unique position. That "bully pulpit."

I think that the president should be able to support his accusations.

I think the opposite. I think every man, know matter who they are or what position they hold, should be able to speak his mind and share his opinions.

Who's outrage??

I can only speak for myself, which I wouldn't call outrage, but I'd say I'm a little angry. That anger isn't about the tweet at all. It's anger and all the time and money wasted and all the BS and misdirection and lies that I've had to deal with since he made it.

I mean literally, if he said "Man me and Bannon were f*cked up when I tweeted that." I might be concerned that he's getting wasted, but at least I'd know he was being honest.

What he's doing now makes me think i can't ever trust anything he says or does. I can't trust this Administration because they're going along with it. I can't trust Spicer because he'll obviously just say anything regardless of how stupid and contradictory it may be from what he said earlier.

It turns what could have been easily explained and brushed off into a mess. Now it's gone on so long I don't know that the truth can even ever be known. Because what is acceptable ranges from "Wiretapping didn't mean Wiretapping" all the way to "We have evidence of a FISA Warrant". That's a wide range of excuses and as time goes on will just become less defined.

To make unfounded claims? Ok.

The president doesn't seem to think so. Unless he's the one making the claim, that is.

You seem to be implying that I think Trump should be prevented from speaking his mind. No. I think he should understand there is a responsibility involved with doing so.

NO it's not.

But if you think so then show me why you think that based off what I'm saying and quote my actual language and we can discuss it.

Otherwise, you're just making claims you can't support.

But if you want to prove it, fine. Support your claim and we'll break it down together to see who's right.

I don't mean to imply that. I am implying that it is a good thing to be reminded our leaders are mammals. Like all of us, they make mistakes, bend the truth, are fallible. I see no point in disguising that behind a reptilian facade of public relations and euphemism.

The Democrats and Liberals have been making claims that Trump colluded with the Russian government in an attempt to steal the election. They have provided zero evidence of such actions.

Trump has claimed that Obama has done surveillance on him. He has provided zero evidence.

How are these two not exactly alike except for the perpetrators and content?

My opinion is that if Trump wrote something he knows something.

Holy #...you just literally made me feel sorry for you.

Reality has repeatedly and consistently proven the precise opposite of your opinion.

Election over..

No election to steal.

If Trump gets impeached Liberals get the farthest right candidate ever to sit in the big seat...Pence..

Yes...The Trump campaign colluded with Russian FSB to attack HRC.

The evidence is staggering...Everyone knows it....The GOP squeezes between the wall and the elephant in the room while looking away in fear everytime they make their way to the restroom.

No need for your feelings to enter into a discussion on politics.

I have a wait and see, where you seem to already know.

I will give it the time to go through the usual slow meat grinder. We will both find out the truth at the same time.

Well it is good that you decided to intercede for MoJoM since after calling me out to state my case he/she has not responded. The problem is that 8 months ago when all of these Russian allegations started there was zero evidence of anything. Then there was a big rush to find any little shred of evidence to prove their case. That is exactly what Trump is being accused of doing now only for him it is a horrific sin.
