Screw that, I like to sleep occasionally.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said the situation would get more complicated in case of a unilateral move by Ankara. He noted that talks at the military level are underway. Yildirim’s remarks come as the Pentagon says it has positioned a small number of U-S forces in and around Manbij to deter attacks. The US refused to determine the number of troops stationed in the area. Meanwhile, Syrian government forces have taken over a number of villages, west of the town from the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces who are supported by Washington. This is in accordance with a deal brokered by Russia. The villages have been a focus of fighting since Wednesday between Turkish-backed militants and the SDF forces who include Kurdish YPG fighters. These are viewed by Turkey as terrorists. The SDF fighters captured Manbij in August 2016.
