Sadly that is the frustrating part of it, what can we do, technology has been rammed up our rear ends from every where out there.

I fought back for a while, no credit cards no online banking, got the cheapest phone to avoid internet, now look at us, everything is in the digital era and you like or know you are in the bandwagon or else.

Very frustrating.

That operation could have been run using these tools, as a message to Putin (we can get you).

I have to think that the first release is just a taste of what is yet to come. I hope that it opens eyes that are still not seeing what the CIA really is about.

Let's get real though, is it even possible to get rid of the CIA? It's kind of like a bead of water, put your thumb on it and it will pop up elsewhere. Who does it answer to? What is it's goal? How many operatives work for it? Where? It's impossible to get clear answers to those questions. So, even if funding was cut, how can we be sure it would die? And what about intelligence agencies from other allied countries? Same/same?

It seems hopeless.

When the government mandated that we switch from analog to digital television, I was very suspicious. Remember how they pushed that through so quickly and efficiently? They even gave $40 certificates away to anyone who asked, effectively making the digital converter boxes FREE!

Why would the government care that we get our entertainment in glorious 1080p HD anyway?

Red flags at every turn. Now we know.

Devise a spying method for every home in the US, make it irresistible to the consumer, mandate that it be implemented, and make everything else obsolete, just in case some don't fall in line. How deviously clever.

Now I wonder what UHD will bring?

Oh, you are correct.
Hydra, with many heads, Medusa with her snakes for hair, the eyes of Argus are all appropriate references here.
Earlier, in some thread, I mentioned that they won't go away without blood being spilled.
They already spill ours.

Yep. We discussed that as well. And butcherguy brought up the fact that some cell phones have batteries built in that can't be removed so, in effect, they never really shut off. It's literally a Matrix of tech between Phones, TVs, Computers, Smart Meters, Appliances, Cars.

Well that's interesting...just so happens the car that "lost control" and hit Putin's driver happens to be a Mercedes, same as Hastings.

I wonder how many accidents with Mercedes involving loss of control we could find since the Hastings incident. Could be something specific in Mercedes systems that allows for an easier takeover than other cars.

I'm thinking Hughes Telematics, which was bought by Verizon to form Verizon Telematics in 2012, may need to be looked into a bit more for their Mercedes "mbrace" tech. Scary thing is they have slowly released things it can do in car, even to the point you no longer have to take you car into the shop as an engineer can run diagnostics remotely with it.

Now Mercedes isn't the only manufacturer to use this tech at this point, but was the first large one to adopt it for in car systems management. It is also able to control the same features via mobile phone app...

Soo, Assange to have press conference soon and is thought that this may be the last papers in Snowden arsenal and because Russia extended the asylum he released them

There you have it Russia is at fault again

Assange supposedly blame CIA for their lack of care on keeping their information safe they claim that if they got the information how many other countries already have it.

Not Snowden.
Some of the info released is from 2016, so it isn't something that he took.
It is a new 'Snowden'.

Some new information given in presser so far is that Wikileaks will share details of CIA hacking tools with Tech Companies.

Assange also just stated that the time period of Part 1 is from 2013-2016. Upcoming ones are more recent.

It could have been somebody with links to Snowden, because Snowden was included and the information stops no at 2016 but 2015, the leaks are up to that year.

I am looking to see the year the information they just released span.

Thanks! I was never able to get connected.

So they have been using these tools since at least 2013? And we are to believe that they have never used them on us?

The CIA said that is no more information after 2016, but who knows maybe CIA is mistaken.

Does anybody have a link to the press conference of Assange?
