Stop this already, this could well be a pedophile who is trying to abduct this child and all you are saying is ooh it's a kind ghost, don't worry!? I'm tired of this crappy rhetoric about ghosts, wasn't it recently proven that this is indeed false? If so then that would pertain that we have either a hoax or a danger to this child. Pull your head out of your arse and stop spreading lies.

Or a cheating wife...

I just read the updated article ... and I try not to judge how someone reacts in fear and in crisis ... BUT I did find the mothers response odd.

From what I understand, she got the text with picture and then forwarded the text to husband saying 'someone is in the house, what do I do? ' He texts back to make noise, retrieve the baby, leave and call police.

It's easy for me to say I'd respond differently... but I'd think I would either run in and get my baby right away or I'd call 911 if I was too afraid to run in. I wouldn't text my husband for advice first!

Anyone else find this odd? This little detail makes me wonder if the wife was needing attention from hubby and this is a hoax... or ??? I don't know. This just feels like an odd reponse. Forgive me if I sound judgemental and I could be way off base.

I dunno. It still creeps me out in a big way.

That is part of the reason I believe it is a cheating wife situation. This is the guy she is cheating with....hubby likely got the same pic and she then had to scramble to cover it from him, so she sent it to him and asked what to do to make it seem like she was scared when in actuality she was covering for her man on the side and herself.

I know plenty of people with kids and the very last thing any of them would do is text someone and ask what to do....especially if a real intruder is present in their child's room. Her reaction is WAY off to say the least.

My wife would have gone in naked with whatever was closest and easiest to swing at the guy.

What if it was a hit man hired by the husband to do the deed while he was away on business, and he put the remote outside for the hit man to use if necessary? Seems far fetched but it's possible.

Good point on knowing there would be a camera there...

I think that ghost eye glasses wouldn't reflect light.
Is double exposure type phenomena possible with digital images?
I mean could she have captured two images on the screen somehow?
I am technologically ignorant . I can't even paste a story on here properly.

You have ninja deduction skills! I think you have hit the nail on the head!

Busted wife that is worried picture was sent to husband and she tried to cover it up...

Honestly, I don't think I've ever heard of a woman stealing another woman's baby from her home either...but lord knows, there's some nutty enough to do it.

I never thought of the husband trying to off the wife...I would imagine it's certainly a possibility.

Do you think the police would have taken both parents' phones and checked them out? That would likely either rule out some things like that the wife was cheating, or that the husband had hired someone to kill the wife, or if everything on their phones follows the times and events in their stories.

I wonder if the police would bother with phone searches in a case like this where no physical damage was done (nothing of value missing, no assault or battery) and seems to be no suspect to be had other than the grainy photo presented by the wife? If the husband and wife are not suspects, would the police still dig into their personal stories/phones/movements the day of the incident?

Oh, and their internet searches. I'd really like to see their internet and search histories for the last few weeks.

The more I think on this the less sense it makes as far as her reaction...or at least what we have from the story of her reaction. The whole point of a baby monitor is so you can watch your baby correct? So I am failing to understand why she only looked at a texted picture and not check the video feed right then....I mean this was the middle of the night right...so she texts the picture to her husband and waits for a response? The story says she called him but doesn't say if she got him. It then says he texted her back.

And what schmuck of a husband gets a pic from their wife with a message about an intruder in the house and texts back? Wouldn't that warrant a call? I know when I've been out of town and a strange noise happens in the house my wife will call and keep me on the phone until she checks it out.

As far as it being someone living there I believe we can rule that out since the story says the police searched the entire home and found nothing to suggest that being the case.

Relax, we're all throwing theories out there. Nobody knows yet if this is an intruder, a ghost, a sitter, an affair, a hoax, a pervert, an abductor or anything else. We're all in speculation mode at this point.

Unless, as LSU suggested earlier....What if this intruder was on the construction crew that built the house? Then, not only could he possibly know of a way to enter and exit the home without detection, but he also may know of, or created during construction, a secret hidey hole in the home that no one else knows of or could even fathom being there...

This is true...

I am also starting to wonder if the lady was even at home. The more I look at that picture the more I think it is a woman. The facial features and very thin arm make me think such. So another thought is obviously it could still fit my earlier theory, just her lover is a woman instead. But another idea I had was what if this was a sitter the woman hired so she could go out for the night? The story says the camera had the hours set for motion sensing.

Say the husband is not a fan of anyone watching the baby or she told him she was staying at home or whatever, instead she lied, got a sitter and went out. The sitter entered the room for whatever reason and the mom had forgotten about the motion sensor or forgotten to turn it off.

Camera picks up motion, snaps a pic and sends it to both husband and wife so she texts him and says she calls him but maybe she didn't...the story says he only texted her back, they never actually spoke. Maybe she couldn't answer the phone because she was with someone else out on the town or even at their house or whatever. She quickly speeds home and calls police on way or right when she gets there. Pays the sitter and tells her she can go, even gives her extra to stay quiet about it and voila....we have an intruder story!

Ok I'm back... I didn't find any shirts, but I did download an editor and I enhanced the pic along with adding some warmth.

I found that odd as well, because in the initial story I posted, she immediately ran in there and grabbed her baby, and I commended her bravery for it. I'm like you, I don't really know what I would do, but in my head if I saw that, I'd immediately see red. I'd get up, grab my .357 out of the closet, and charge in there with the high beam spotlight I keep beside my bed. I'd probably be so mad and scared at the same time that if I didn't see him pull a gun or knife out, I'd ram the barrel of my pistol through his neck or eye.

But honestly, since I've never experienced it, I don't truly know.

LOL...I searched all over to see if I could find that exact shirt but there are probably so many mushroom shirts out there it would be impossible...could even be from a concert or whatever as I found some from different bands with mushrooms on them so chances of finding that one are probably slim.

Enhanced it is even clearer.
