Some of the themes I noticed: Falling or leaping, sun and sun beams, a guide to greet you upon death, calmness when realizing you are going to (or just have) died, parents and children and/or friends and pets, both on the living side and as seen from the other side, the OBE, a continuation after the event, reincarnation/rebirth, outer space, hell and paradise, darkness or not being able to see, doors, elevators, clouds, cliffs or mountain tops, a beach, deathbed in the ICU (I see you?), birds, life review, the cosmic joke, inner monologue, living death, literal birth after death, righting wrongs from previous lives, remembering past lives, making a choice.

Now match those up with the author.

LOL. Some of them overlap. Across writers and non-writers alike. I think there are bots created to do things like that. Deep data ya know. It is the future!

Phew! I was expecting it was one of those "voices in your head" type things.

Nothing scary about the CIA running us lab rats around every once in a while. Judging by my expanding waist line I need the exercise!

OK, I've tallied up the scores and sent them off for verification!!!
(Let the big, long & dramatic drum roll commence!! LOL)

If my calculations are correct.... there were FORTY FOUR Entries received, which is just AMAZING!

With just ONE HALF of a point separating 3rd and 4th place in the writers section!
and just a SINGLE POINT between 2nd and 3rd in the Non-Writer section!!

TOTAL FLAGS GIVEN during the contest = 719 !!
TOTAL STARS GIVEN during the contest = 820 !!!
