...Calling out the false narrative that left-wing newspapers have been using

The OP cites international press that is not linked to the US MSM, and as you yourself have pointed out, are decidely NOT left-wing. The thread's point is that Trump's narrative is being used to validate and support dictators' tyrannical actions. Notably against journalists.

So, the international media community is anti-Trump too? Go figure!!

It's almost as if there is an international effort to control a narrative. Funny that everyone is parrotting the same old crap isn't it? Every western country is towing the line. I'm pleased to say the UK government is being far more reserved as have the BBC.

If anyone needed proof that there is an international globalist agenda, I think you have done a good job of laying it out.

Ok all media are not journalists but all journalists are media.
Kind of like all dogs are not poodles but all poodles are dogs. Get it?

And he did say that fake news was the enemy of the people and that they should be required to reveal their sources. Making it easier to retaliate against the source directly no doubt. Keep in mind he has named trusted respected news agencies as fake news for his convenience in this argument.
The N.Y. Times, The Washington Post, CNN these are fake but Connies Conservative Conversations blog is A.O.K. And on this site where pics or it didn't happen is the battle cry this should never be acceptable. SMH.

Is it parroting the same crap or simply calling out the crap? There's a difference. This just shows that we as human inhabitants of this planet have much more in common with each other than not. Most americans see him as a jerk and the rest of the world does too. Imagine that...

How long before some crazy takes out a reporter because they bear the mark of fake placed on them by trump? Some crazed trump loyalist who thinks trump is being treated badly?
Or are crazy people fake too?

Yes - there IS a corporate global agenda. But as I pointed out to ElectricUniverse: The OP cites international press that is not linked to the US MSM, and as (he) pointed out, are decidedly NOT left-wing. Nor are they linked to the global MSM.

The thread's point is that Trump's narrative is being used to validate and support dictators' tyrannical actions. Notably against journalists.

I am well aware of the problems with the MSM, and know that now they are down to maybe 5 owners globally, all in each others' pockets. I first predicted the problem back in the 1980's, and started writing and publishing on it then.

It doesn't matter. We can check the sources and the facts. And we should. Always.

But if Trump, the government, or any other agency presumes to control the press, to take away my own right to decide who's fake and who's not, then we do have a dictatorship.

The Free Press is FREE across the board. Not just for a chosen few. It's our right, and our own responsibility. Buyer beware.

Yes, but the whole premise of Trump being some kind of dictator is absolutely ridiculous and has indeed been sold internationally by american left-wing MSM, no?

No. It's a been-there-done-that observation made by a variety of ordinary people in various places:

"This is how a dictatorship starts."

Especially that part about gagging the press.

edit on 2/3/17 by soficrow because: (no reason given)

Oh, the press in America has been gagged has it?

Out of curiosity, who are the "variety of ordinary people in various places" because it looked more very unordinary people marching in streets with beheaded Trump effigies. Is that what constitues "normal" or rational people to you?

Comparing Trump to Rwandan dictators???

You are losing the plot.

Alright, when he rips the constitution apart, forms a secret state police that bumps into people's houses in the middle of night and arrests them for badmouthing his government, bans and kills minorities or undesirables, bans any form of press by decree, bans workers syndicates and forbids people of protesting against his government in the streets like they are doing now, arresting them and killing them by the dozens then It will be a Dictatorship! until then, international articles dont make it true.

Your definition of a dictator defines the entire 8 years of Obama. It's insane how people will pin that on Trump within a month of inauguration while they overlooked it for nearly a decade.

You were able to find some parades and protests from other countries that don't like Trump, bully for you. Odd that you never find the foreign Trump supporters when there are just as many, if not more, than anti-Trumpers. Germany needs to focus more on refugees infiltrating and killing/raping its citizens before they worry about what's going on in America.

Obama's "improvements" cost democrats several swing states and a presidential election.

Trump is living up to his promises which will most likely garner him another victory in 2020.
