He's the biggest snowflake this country has ever seen. The reason he's not going is because he doesn't like being criticized. He can't take it because he's thin skinned. He's proven this time and time again. Even his former staffers admit it.

He's not going because he's standing up to the elites. He's a snaowflake and that's why he's not going but I would never expect a Kool Aid drinking Trump supporting to acknowledge any of the above.

If that's true, then you snowflakes lost to a snowflake.

That makes you snowflakes the snoflakier snowflakes.

How to score a White House Correspondents’ Dinner ticket: It’s complicated.

“How do I get a ticket to the White House Correspondents’ dinner?”

That query, now on the lips of bucket-list checkers inside the Beltway and out, sounds straightforward, and the simple answer is this: be a White House correspondent, or the boss of such a person. Be a desired guest of the media outlets with access to golden tickets: a senator, maybe, or a Cabinet secretary, a top advertiser — or a celebrity. And even then, cross your fingers just for good measure.

But that explanation belies a fraught process by which the annual dinner’s 2,600 tickets are distributed — all influenced by a stew of power plays, ego, and money. Think politics is just for politicians? Welcome to the creation of the seating chart for the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.

Totally irrelevant to the ordinary people who produce the money and give the power to these elite individuals. It's just another expression of narcissistic personality disorder for wannabe's to drool over. Another chance to say look at me, I'm better than you are, so bow before me.

The people who clean the bathrooms are no doubt not invited, even though in the scheme of things they are more important.

You're opinion is meaningless because you lost. Elections have consequences. President Trump won because he controlled the fight. That's what this is.

What ever happened to him claiming the Election was rigged, but only if he lost. Think about that for a sec if you please.

Washington Elitists sitting around patting each other on the back about how they rule over all of us peasants. How dare the President not attend such an important event!

Heck, if I was elected president, I wouldn't want to even move to DC. I wouldn't want too many secret service guys here either, I wouldn't want to be cooking for a big crowd.

Why do presidents have to go to things like that? I would never want that job. I'd rather invite the family over for a bbq and sit around a campfire and cook.

For supposedly being against the rich and powerful, liberals sure do love to support the rich and powerful. I guess if you are rich and powerful in government or the media (those who hold the most power over us) it's ok, only those who own businesses and actually produce things of value to the American people are evil. Twisted doesn't even begin to describe it.

Trump is the rubber and you're the glue. Whatever you call him, bounces off and sticks to you. How's that? Because not accepting unjust criticism is not being a snowflake. The snowflakes of America cried when he was elected and threw petulant tantrums. The mere word Trump had them triggered. A priest on campus triggered them to think it was a kkk member, even lab equipment covers for that matter. You clearly are trying to redefine the term and failing at it.

Nah, he's not going because he's afraid he'd shoot one of them and his supporters would then expect him to do it all the time.

He doesn't want to start that tradition.

Meh...it is what it is. Couldn't really care less. It's just a typical DC get-together. It's tradition for the president to get "roasted" at these dinners. Wonder if that bothered him a bit. He doesn't take criticism well.

What would happen there?

Would he get even a smidgen of respect from these self-important bloated egos...all far left loonies that live in La La Land or the Beltway/NY bubble? No, he wouldn't. He would be nothing but a punching bag for their vile and venemous humor.

Donald Trump is a billionaire. They don't impress this man like they impressed Obama or the Clintons. President Trump knows what they are and what they stand for.

Trump would prefer to be in a room full of real people, discussing solutions to problems that have festered for decades, finding ways to help The Real American People.

Let the White House Correspondence Dinner fakers spout their hate to the wall.

He's not going to give these hate-mongers the satisfaction. Their party lost, so they're going to be extra extra nasty.

Kinda like acting surprised when the mongoose respectfully declines attending the annual snake convention, isn't it?

Good for him! Hopefully it will send a message to their fickle greed and pursuit of the lowest common denominator!

Interesting that you say that, this is the reason why the WHCA was founded:

The White House Correspondents' Association (WHCA) is an organization of journalists who cover the White House and the President of the United States. The WHCA was founded on February 25, 1914, by journalists in response to an unfounded rumor that a Congressional committee would select which journalists could attend press conferences of President Woodrow Wilson.

Interesting, in that Trump us now doing the same thing.
