Lets assume there WAS an image filter deleting the image.
Why didnt ANYONE try to post it somewhere as a .txt file? As a .rar file? Anything? Noone even tried.

Everyone just posted the alleged picture directly to 4chan then insta-deleting it to cause people like you to go haywire.

Dont you realise it would be VERY easy to prove what youre saying? Yet you CANT?

I was on shortly after, the mania, hysteria, mass bans and thread locks is unlike anything I've ever seen.

i was on the board. never clicked into the thread, but scrolled past it in the window it was up. tbh i barely gave it a notice. but i noticed it was off the board and then witnessed the chaos that ensued.

I was there from the very beginning, and saw about 50+ threads get deleted over the course of the few days.
And probably a few hundred people getting banned.

Yet I never ever saw anyone try to post a link to the picture as a .txt, .rar, or any other way imaginable.
It was the same "imgur" crap over and over again.

No one knew it was about to become the most censored image in human history, I think we all assumed it was going to be very widely spread within 24 hours.

I'm not debating that anythings real just trying to update you on what info I have but I really don't like your hostile tone.

The burden of "proof" is not on anyone this website and my participation in it is for entertainment alone, if you're here in search of truths about image removal software you need to go to a different kind of website and ask experts about whether or not it exists.

I have simply offered very easy steps to prove wether or not that is true - YET NOONE HAS EVEN ATTEMPTED TO DO SO over the past 4 days.

I never claimed that, I said that's one of the three theories I know of that you could look into if you're extremely desperate to have the information before it's widely available

they have a pretty huge amount of unique visitors per month for a #posting board, so i don't think they need more traffic.

I came to my own conclusion that this is most likely a movie promo/still that got leaked, generating massive buzz around it. I'd say look out for a trailer within a month. This is based on the quality of the image that some have suggested and the current remake, seems like it was taken by a real good camera, if someone were to release it they'd probably do it twice.

The speed at which it is claimed to be deleted at suggests it was deleted by an admin within 30 - 45 seconds, no one saved the image, the image wasn't syndicated anywhere. From 4chan's millions of people, now there are pieces of it all about the place and a team trying to reconstruct it.

It feels like an elaborate hoax to get the image and the buzz around it to spread as a 'real alium'. It seems the 4chan admins were paid off to watch/delete the content, which would be reasonable, or even forced to do it. DMCA complaints can get anything taken down, and fast these days. So once it gets posted a DMCA complaint is made and it's gone. They make a few accounts or have a small team to propel it a bit, "It made me feel sick, made me blah made me blah". This generates great concern among the masses forcing us to go on a man hunt for the image and the image essentially goes viral based on the lower quality image they release. They continue to release pieces, render pieces, publish pieces but never the original media through another medium, where it can go viral and last significantly longer than the place it was originally published.

I'd say it's a very good movie promo that's about it.

The fact that noone has even bothered to try to post the original picture IN ANY OTHER MEDIUM than an image - tells me there is no picture.

If there was one it would be ALL OVER the place in various shapes and forms, from encrypted .txt files to a 10+ part rar archive.

So you mean to tell me in 4 days, noone on 4chan thought to think outside the box - but instead go against alleged "filter" by trying to post the image over and over?
